Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
"I am here to do a single thing - learn about your story."
Pulling out of her back-pack filled with trinkets, uncomplete maps, and notes. Definitely seems to be a seasoned traveller, daring to know more about the unknown lands. From the very beginning as far as her consciousness comes back to, she has been curious. Always been told about legends and stories from singing storytellers about the wide world. Making it her own mission to know more about it.
"All my life I've wanted to know more, learn about everything that the bards and travellers have seen in their travels." — She mentioned while getting comfortable in the cushion, looking at the room to then get back at the lady.
As a child, she would sneak away from her lessons to sit by the fire pits where traveling bards rested. She listened to singing storytellers and travellers that recounted legends of forgotten kingdoms that for some are mere myths.
""However, my story is not yet worth of knowing more, I've come here for a single reason!" Laughed slightly to her own comment. "I want to know more about your story." — Out of her bag of curiosities, she pulls a pen and a piece of paper. Curious - with a friendly smirk , she went back to the old hag. That was her mission - know about the wide world that she was told once upon a time.
