Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
"Oh, hey there" Amathel quickly scans her surroundings, looking for clues that tell her she could be in danger - She then walks slowly towards the cushion.
"You.." She takes a quick look at the hag "..where expecting me? How's that possible?" She finally makes herself comfortable after her senses tell her she's in no immediate danger, tension dissapearing but still weary.
"I come from afar, I.. well, ran away from what was once my home" She forces herself to smile and look at the old woman, waiting to see if that bit would please her curiosity enough.
