Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Example: "I am Mona, and you will address me as such." Stated the woman. "I come from the southern deserts in search of beasts to tame. My family were herders, taking camels and turning them into war beasts and pack animals alike. It is in this trade I wish to pursue. My father taught me originally, but my brothers continue the practice at home." She paused, stepping a few feet further into the building. "But it's not the only reason. I fear that one day, my village will lose its place as a herding community, and they will need knowledge from the outside world to continue on living. So I seek to also aquire knowledge, for the sake of my 5 brothers and my mother." She had an air of determination that filled the room. "I shall not fail them." She thumped her chest to further solidify her intent.
