Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Riona glares at the old hag, "If I must," she sighs. Riona had been traveling for days, starving and longing for a glimpse of civilization. Riona is a somewhat recent top-of-the-class graduate from academy. She grew up in a vibrant world filled with intricate social dynamics and ambitious family. Desperate to flee, she quickly tried to form a small band of friends together to embark on a new journey that would support her in a quest for future truths, but nobody would dare to leave the land that nurtured their growth. Unfortunately, as Riona begins to peel back the layers of her past, alone, she discovers the intricacies of loyalty, secrecy and the weight of her own knowledge. Riona is trying to navigate a path that could lead her to enlightenment and success but fears this new dingy town could spiral her into despair, or worse - consume her. Will this new journey forge her grand destiny, or will it unravel her world?
