Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) "Thank you for the shelter." As I exhaustedly settle onto the cushion, I continue: "My name is Angus and I have been traveling for many years. My village was attacked by an orc horde, and I was one of the few to barely escape." Wearily I ask for some water to quinch my parched throat. After greedily drinking I continue: "I have been wandering the lands, working odd jobs, and struggling to survive." My loneliness has made me bitter toward orcish folks, to the point of hatred. "I have vowed to find the horde that attacked my village and revenge my parents, sisters, and countrymen." The last few words were said with tears running down my cheek and a catch in my voice.
