Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
Kuroyama looks at her "You know me?" He asks skeptically, turning his head slightly sideways, narrowing his eyes, curious of the old hag. After waiting a few moments without receiving an answer, he hesitantly takes a seat on the cushion. "How do you know me?" He asks in an agitated tone, becoming aggravated at her lack of response. He begins to speak "I have traveled through many lands and you are the first person to know me." He starts to loosen up as she listens to his story. He continues "I was born in a faraway land, and after my parents were killed by darkspawn I was taken in and raised by the monks of the local temple. I have known nothing but the ancient ways of the nomad and was taught only how to survive and pray." He takes a minute to catch his breath before starting up again "Shiroyama my father monk told me of a land that was home to a people group who could teach me the ways of the sword and in return he told me to make disciples and teach the generations to come of the temple traditions and the secret to the monks unrivaled resolve." He pauses briefly then states "Now I am here, in search of a Sensei to teach me the way of the warrior." He gets up and thanks the hag before leaving to continue his adventure.
