Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Angela would respond with a soft smile, lowering herself to her knees to sit though a dull melancholy is evident on her face "It might bore you to tears.. but if you so insist." she'd let out a soft slow breath as she adjusts herself where she has sat, straightening her posture. "Isn't it obvious? I'm but a plain girl.. who has moved from her plain parents and plain life so that a spark of wonder and joy might illuminate my life. I hear you have quite the knowledge that could be imparted.. and that such knowledge is what motivates me to do all of this. I'm a girl with everything to gain.. so you should know I'll be good for your investment.. and that I seek to do something with that which you can give me." she'd speak in a simple tone, though it would be clear her final words were with conviction.
