  1. Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Example: "Usually I wouldn't be so willing to share information like this. It seems that our encounter aligns with fate, so just this once I will indulge." With a quiet crash, a bag falls from the man's shoulder as he sits on the cushion. A hand raises to brush the hair sticking to his forehead aside. There was hesitation in his voice, but to him this was a moment to share his findings, to tell stories of what he has seen. "My name is Orpheus Durand. I come from a town further north- One of the mountain settlements. I am a researcher, studying the fauna as I travel and I have been away from home for eight hundred and thirty-six days. There has been many kind folk that have aided in my studies, in my travels, and the people I have met and the things I have seen... There truly is nothing better." Orpheus had begun leaning forward as he spoke. The color in his eyes seemed to shine through for a moment, before he continued. In fact, his whole demeanor changed back to the reserved boy who had stumbled into the tent a few minutes prior. "And of course, the magnificent sights I have seen give my journey meaning, but I need... I need to see what this town has to offer me. I need to find something worthy of bringing home, to prove it wasn't all for nothing." He picked up his bag, pulling a journal out. "And I'm sure exactly what I'm looking for is here."
