Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"My uhh... My story?" Kairo responded hesitantly, was her anxious? could he trust her? no his gut feeling felt as though he could stay, hed slowly take a seat onto the cushion crossing his legs and placing his fingertips together at his heels. taking a deep breath... Kairo exhaled "Well i guess i was lost for a while, i had nothing much to leave behind" Kairo would look down slightly, his eyes twitching to each flame in which the candles were lit before continuing "even so this old dump seems better than what i had. i guess im just looking for my own path, my independance and a new family to rely on" Kairo looked up towards the Old Lady giving a trusting look "perhaps this might be my start.." kairo took a pause "a start to a new life or a new journey, i didnt really know my parents and when i did they werent really around, im 19 now, when i was 13 i lost my parents, no siblings, no one to rely on, so i kind of had to help myself, until one day i ran away, i got tired of living a miserable life, maybe ill live a life of regret and forget to know it but im glad i left, i worked as hard as i could since they passed and now, im free from that wretched place." he would say as he smiled softly.
