Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
"Oh, I just, kind of..." they paused, for a moment, it's silent until "I am here to help... I lived in a kingdom quite far from here and decided it was time for a change, I suppose." She shuffles through the satchel on her back for a book. "I read about the different potions and such in this book and wanted to try, So I plan to find a place to relax a bit while perhaps opening a shop" They sounded slightly nervous. "I grew up learning to defend myself from any possible danger I trust myself to be safe". She looked at the book in her hands for a moment and proceeded to look up to the older woman "I want to help people... That is why I am here". "Potions and farming have always been my specialty so why not put them to good use, right?". The elderly woman nodded and showed them to their own tent, where they got ready to sleep for the next day.
