Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Wulfgar’s nose curled from the stench of the old hag causing him to stop in his tracks before sitting down on the cushion. "My name is Wulfgar, and I am an orphan who survived a great war. A war so great the lands I was born in no longer exist" A tear begins to form on Wulfgar face as he looks away to avoid showing emotion to the hag whom he did not trust. The emotion of the day of his parents death still showing on his face. "And I um... have travelled a great distance to arrive here in order escape that place of ruin I used to call home". Wulfgar paused for a moment and looked at the old hag the stench no longer noticeable and wiped away a tear with his clenched fist. "I wish to start a new life, one of peace and prosperity, maybe even start my own kingdom, and also learn magic and how to use a sword." Wulfgar now composed his face dry of tears "That is my story."
