Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Zafirah stands at the entrance of the tent for a long moment her gaze cold with distrust and suspicion before finally, she steps into the small dull tent sitting stiffly in the offered seat," I've heard you're the greatest seer in the land, and since you clearly know what I'm going to say next, I want you to look into the future and tell me what's going to happen to me in the next five years." Zafirah says her voice full of indignation, the old hag stared at her for a long moment before replying," You know knowledge is very dangerous thing... It never ends well for those who try to change their fate." The old hag replied calmly," And? I'm willing to take that risk, after all I already know I'm in the prophecy that's destroying my life." Zafirah snapped, the old hag tilted her head brow raising with question," Then why do you need to know your fate then?" The old hag asked in the same annoying calm tone, Zafirah glared at the old woman her patience withering," Why do you care?! I want to know whether I'm the one destined to follow the path of destruction or preservation- will I rise with the power of blood on my hands or devotion of my people!" Zafirah snarled, standing sharply to her feet with fists clenched with anger," I've looked into your future Zafirah, and all I can say is, there is always power in choice." The old hag replied to her voice small; Zafirah stared at the women before speaking her voice cold as ice," Choices, choices?! That's not a valid answer!" Zafirah exclaimed with frustration," Like I said' knowledge is a dangerous thing child, I'd advise you should leave." Zafirah glared at the old hag with so much anger and hate she trembled but finally with much reluctance she stormed out the tent only one thing cler to her whatever that seer saw in her future wasn't good.
