Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

As he sits, he looks around the space with disgust, "My name is Aendir" he says calmly, "I came to this wretched town in search of revenge. My home, a once lush forest with flowing brooks and peaceful creatures has been destroyed by evil beasts. Not many survived the battles and the ones that did will never be the same... After losing my home I searched for my family far north. I lived with highlanders for many moons, learning their ways and fighting along them." he pauses and looks at the hag, "I'm here searching for help, a way of reclaiming my land and avenging my fallen comrades."
