Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
"ah...." he stammers, he is clearly thrown off by the hag talking to him. Midorin steps toward the tent, and with every step, he gets more nervous. "You've been expecting me?", as he glances down at himself, half expecting she was talking to someone else. After a moment, he nods and sits on the weary old cushion. "Sorry, Ma'am, but I really don't have a story to tell", Midorin says, scratching the back of his head. He lets out a slight chuckle," I'm just from a small farm not too far from here." Midorin glances around, seemingly bothered by the decoration in the tent. "I came here cause my crops aren't doing too well, I must be because of the water or something." He says in a slightly sour tone while scratching his forehead. Finally, Midorin looks at the hag directly at her eyes for the first time since entering, " I thought maybe coming here would find me some answers."
(Wasn't sure how long it was supposed to be, but if need be, I will write more to it)
