  1. Born among high elves where purity meant everything, an infant was abandoned for having “tainted blood,” left to die in a desolate wasteland before he was even given a name. But he did not die. Something… unknown took notice of him. It had no name, no form—only a presence. It did not save him out of kindness. It simply allowed him to live. And in doing so, it left something behind. the boy grew up untouched by things that should have killed him, though he never understood why. The world around him often felt… strange. Too quiet at times, like it was holding its breath—but he never thought of it as magic, only bad memories or imagination. Years later, a traveling bard found him. Though the place felt wrong, she saw only a child and took him in. She raised him and gave him a name: Falandor. He learned music, and through it, he found a place in the world. His songs carried strong emotion—sometimes more than he intended—but he never questioned it. To him, it was just music. His mentor never feared him. Before she died, she told him: “Live like the wind—free and joyous.” Taking her surname, Vignari, he became a wandering bard. Though people admired his music, they often felt uneasy around him. Rumors followed, but he never understood why. In time, he chose to settle at the edge of civilization, living a quiet, semi-secluded life. Travelers still come to hear him play. And sometimes, when everything grows still… …he feels like he isn’t entirely alone.
