Feanis was raised in the Princedom of Cauróst, by both of his parents - Ehierame and Fenn'iyath. Their family lived was wealthy, due to Fenn'iyath’s position as a civil servant. Since an early age, Feanis trained in swordsmanship under his father, a former soldier who believed discipline was the foundation of survival.
Yet, as in many lands, wealth ones were figures of division. Their status polarized many, and over time, that resentment turned into persecution. Feanis’ family became a target of growing hostility within their community.
One night, that hatred reached its breaking point. Ehierame was brutally murdered by an unknown assassin. The loss shattered Fenn'iyath. Unable to endure the grief and pressure any longer, he took his own life. Feanis witnessed his father’s final act - an image that would haunt him for years to come.
Left alone, Feanis found solace in the only person he had left - his closest companion, Kae'Marn, a young wood elf who lived nearby. The two spent seven years together, bound by shared hardship and a restless, troubled youth.
The little they have had collapsed once more when Kae'Marn fell gravely ill. Desperate, Feanis set out on a journey in search of a cure. But fate was unkind - by the time he returned, Kae'Marn was already gone.
With nothing left to anchor him, Feanis abandoned Cauróst. Shunned and despised by its people, he embraced a life of wandering. He became a nomad, surviving through theft - raiding convoys and preying on lone travelers.
Everthing changed when he arrived in the Kingdom of Norland.
There, Feanis encountered the Red Faith. Once a nonbeliever, the dark elf found himself drawn into its teachings. Twisted by loss and shaped by suffering, he began to see in it a reflection of his own fractured soul. Slowly, he turned away from the life of a rogue, seeking meaning beyond mere survival.
After a few years in Norland, Feanis decided to travel once more - this time not to escape, but to seek truth. He now travels in search of an answer to a single question:
Is the Red Faith truly the path he was meant to follow?
