Caurios Caerthwyn was born a Mali’ame on the Isle of Nevaehlen, raised by his mother Sylraen of the Father Circle and his father Thalanor, a respected hunter of the wilds. He grew up alongside his older sister Eryndis, a druid in training, and his younger brother Letharion, whose troublemaking spirit kept the family on edge. Surrounded by Nevaehlen’s ancient forests, Caurios learned to track wildlife, honor the Aspects, and move with the quiet grace expected of a Wood Elf. Yet he often found himself drawn to the distant peaks overlooking the wider lands of Aevos, dreaming of life beyond the island’s calm glades. Stories brought by travelers from Elysium only fueled that longing. Seeking purpose beyond the expectations of his birth, Caurios left Nevaehlen to explore Aevos, carrying with him the teachings of his family and the promise to return stronger.
