Her mother and father share birthdays being born in SA 222 and they inherited the farm land that their grandparents. Orlin and Marceline had expanded a humble farm to a moderately sized estate
On a farm In Northwestern Norland, Ellisyn Grae is born. On her 1st birthday her 2 older siblings died from the flu. She being the only remaining child had to take the responsibilities of 3 farm hands. She found herself working the land day after day and a resentment for the work grew. But the world didn't relent. She caught a terrible flu, the same kind that killed her siblings. Bedridden and face to face with death the stories of the great clans of Norland she realized that all she had was dirt- though she knew it was a powerful thing she loathed it, and after beating the disease she could never work the farm land the same. One night she snuck out to explore the wilderness and forget about the hardships the morn would bring- enjoying the newfound freedom she would form a habit of nighttime exploration. Throughout her teens she would sneak into the cottages and shack around her home stealing things that caught her eyes, like coins, books, and wooden carvings. She amassed a hearty collection but bad harvest on her farm lead to her having to sell her bounty. The harvest never got better. The farm was on the brink On her 20th birthday she set out to put her skills of scavenging and thievery to the test and save her familys' farm.
