Schelena doesn't remember much of her childhood, she remembers being found at the age of 3, alone and then being taken in by a dark elven family that lived within the Duchy of Adria. Her adoptive family was large but not too large, She had her parents; Phargos Alendar (Father) and Yasthara Alendar (Mother), her siblings; Kialess (Sister), Vornzen (Brother), Lagara (Sister), Laestree (Sister), Briza (Sister), Gelryn (Brother), and then Hadlok (Brother), who was born 2 years after she was adopted (All are not real, characters, just characters i made up for the backstory). She never spoke a word her entire life so her adoptive family taught her what they knew of the common language and then taught her the written and sign language of Vel’luah. Her life wasn't the easiest growing up, she grew up in poverty and grew up facing discrimination for being a dark elf and for being mute, and even though she did grow surrounded by love and care, it wasn't enough. Schelena always desired more out of her life, she didn't want to be a any one, she wanted to be some body that people could turn to, to look up to, to admire. Eventually, on her 18th birthday, she left home to spare her family of the burden of another mouth to feed, and to travel the land to make friends, find her passion in life, and to eventually be that some body.
