Corwyn Veyren was born in the freezing village of Skarnhall way up in Norland.
Even though his family was super poor, with his dad being a woodcutter and his mom a herbalist, Corwyn always dreamed of becoming a real noble one day.
He spent most of his time trying to study whatever books or old scrolls he could find, reading by the fire late at night even when he was exhausted from helping chop wood.
Growing up in the snowy forests and rough hills of Norland, he learned how to swing a sword from the local guards and secretly loved stories about fancy knights and lords.
His family could barely eat some days, but that didn’t stop Corwyn from training and studying like crazy because he wanted to be more than just another poor kid.
After his dad died in a bad logging accident and things got even harder, Corwyn left Skarnhall at twenty years old to chase his destiny across Azuras. That's when he heard about the Alban Peasant's Revolt.
He knew he wanted to do something about the scales of unfairness that existed between nobles and peasants.
