History:
Kírdyn was born in the Wilds outside of Laurelin during a one of it's most dreadful storm. His father had left to find food and firewood in order for Kírdyn's family to survive the night. While he was away, Kírdyn was born, but his mother did not survive childbirth. Several hours passed before Kírdyn's father returned, and finding his wife dead and his newborn son barely living, Kírdyn's father fled through the night to Laurelin to save his son. He soon arrived at the local healer's residence and quickly sought help for Kírdyn. The healer calmed him and restored Kírdyn to his former health.
Years later, Kírdyn's father taught him the basic skills of hunting, fighting, and crafting. Soon, Kírdyn picked up even the most advanced skills his father could teach him, but no matter how skilled he was, his father always reminded him, "You can only save others if you, yourself, are prepared."
After years of traveling, training, and exploring together, Kírdyn and his father came across a group of elven girls being attacked by a gang of brigands. Kírdyn and his father quickly armed themselves and jumped in to help. Although Kírdyn and his father were far superior in skill, the brigands had numbers on their side; before Kírdyn knew what had happened, his father stepped in front of a blade aimed for Kírdyn's back. Blinded by anger and rage, Kírdyn slaughtered the remaining brigands. He quickly found his way over to the girls and released them before rushing back to his father's side. In his dying words, Kírdyn's father told him not to worry, for he was a great warrior and that he would do great things for people.
After his father's passing, Kírdyn traveled through the land, escorting civilians through the wilds and setting up temporary trading posts to sell his crafts. After years of the Wilds, Laurelin, his home, called to Kírdyn, and he returned to start a new life.
