  1. Verily, great self-righteousnous and great blindness are needed to call the gore pouring from the scaffold justice. Vehement beasts trudge the realm, and Maisy wears a cloak of envy-why should others have more then she has? Her fingers graze the gentle velvet silk of the passingby ladies-and promptly dive into their coinpurses in search for spoils. Too many times she stared through the grimey windows at lavish meals, felt the beast of hunger swell in her belly and sighed to release its roar. The magnificent chess peices of politics crawl around her; and she moves out of their way. Such games are for people who can afford the peices, or atleast most of them. She weaves and bobs out of their way; atleast for now; maybe at some point she gets to ride the crested Knight piece. She thinks ill of the ramifications of brute force, preffering sly and cunning in the absence of her own brawn to feed her evergrowing lust for the luxurious: gems, lavish food, fancy garments. A weak frame; with little strewn over it. She preffers staying out of brawls, using her distase for fighting as her excuse-but truth be told the real root of that lies in her disability to lay a punch. However, a nimble frame with a somewhat nubile apperance has other upsides: agility, speed, and most importantly maneuverability. Her fingers are well preserved despite the worst of the conditions she found herself in; keeping their dexeterity intact for diving into coinpurses and picking locks. She stands approximately 5'8'' in height, with blonde locks of hair falling down her narrow shoulders, and an extremly pale complexion constrasting her starch blue eyes. She owns little-but what she does own is rather lavish: a leather garb padded with velvet sporting a rather stylish hood, a double-bottomed coinpurse to keep her collegues in craft away from her misgained wealth, and a simple walking cane.

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Dave was born in the nearby proximity of the slums in the human capital. He grew up as a child of a mediocre standing family, without any siblings. His father took great care in the boys education, and it wasn't a uncommon sight for the family table to be missing a large amount of food so that the boy could spend some more time at his teachers place. Due to his good education, Dave quickly understood the cost of his knowledge, and was very grateful for it. He tried to return the favor by doing chores with his father, and learned the value of hard work through that. He was almost 18 when his mother came down with an odd disease that couldn't be cured by any means. His family was quickly isolated, and Dave saw his ex-friends turn on him, as no one wished to be in his presence. His father was also frustrated with this, as his comrades and coworkers did the same. As soon as his mother passed away, he and his father set foot to the mountains, away from the city ruckus. There they sought to create a self-sustaining household, capable of existing without any outer aid. Any normal boy of his age would object to this, but his anger was far too great. Soon, he and his father stopped talking, reducing their communication to the bare minimum. This was mostly due to the fact that they were both tired, and they dried out their topics long time ago. As one would suspect, their "fort" didn't go undetected for long, and local bandits quickly fell prey upon it, sacking and pillaging the fruits of their labor, and taking it for their own. Dave quickly realized a new aspect of life: savagery. He lived for months with his dying father, in the woods, gathering fruits and hunting animals. He must have killed hundred rabbits before his father came of age and died, leaving him with their basic survival tools: a silver etched knife, and a broken silver watch with their family symbol etched on it. A few weeks later, Dave was fully transformed into a beast, his young muscles thriving for vengeance. He coated himself in dirt, tied his dirty hair in a knot, and sharpened his knife. As the dawn rose, his knife was covered in the blood of those who have sinned him. After deep thought, he decided that despite his hate, this revenge was not his to take. He washed himself in the bath that he carved from a birch tree before setting his recluse on fire and leaving for the nearest town. Ambitions for the Future: Trying to find his place in the world, think about his previous acts, aid those in need of help and uphold the memory of his father Personality: Silent, calculated, self-sufficient. Has basic knowledge of "school-stuff" and survival skills, but isn't a expert in neither. Prone to asking questions. Skills: Building, survival, cooking, combat Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): A very common looking man, without any major notable features. Brown hair, and stern brown eyes. Some minor scars over his face and arms. Dressed in commoner clothes, with some leather straps he made himself, designed to carry his iron sword. Wears travel boots, rarely taking them off. Speaks in a harsh voice. Any other details you wish to share about your character:None, I seek to developed those "on the go", as I play my character out. This is my most common roleplaying style. Open-Response-Questions Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point. ____ 1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do? Answer: Fight fire with fire. Dave would try to follow the target without being detected, hoping to catch it at a critical point of it's plan. Behaving like that would ensure he doesn't harm innocent people, and yet stops the man if he has any evil plots. If he caught the person red-handed he would first try to subdue him himself, without calling anyone for his aid. If he does that successfully, he would then call for the guards to do their job. If not, he would not hesitate to kill the wrongdoer, taking his fighting back as a proof of evil intentions. However, he would not take that death easily, as he often wanders about his right to take someone life. 2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react? Answer: After checking the perimeter for any other threats, he would try to lure the bandits into the forest, hoping to separate them, as he stands no chance against well-trained warriors. If he is successful, he and the man being robbed would attempt to fend off the attackers, without any attempts to capture prisoners, mostly due to his hate toward bandits and their kin. After slaying the bandits, he would attempt to loot them, leaving the saved man to fend for the bodies, without asking for any reward. 3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens). Answer: As a survivor and a scholar, Dave would mostly seek survival tools and various useful trinkets. He would inquire about the mans art and sculpture collection, but would make no attempt to purchase those, as he has nowhere to place them. He would try to bargain the price to the minimum, but might toss a few coins aside if he is pleased with the trade. EDIT: I had minor issues with text editing, so I "evened" it out. Hope you don't mind.
  4. I saw none other Dark Elfes when I checked the area. I hope to meet you in my travels soon....
  5. -1. Sun's Height, 3E427- It had been days since I left my tribe, and forcefully started my journey. It was a long one, and it gave me a lot of time to think about my actions, and the consequences they carried with them. In the history of my tribe, there are few that left their tents and their pathetic farmer lives to seek a greater cause. The fact I was exiled makes no difference in my mind. I will prove to them that living with the humans is possible, and achieving such great things as they did. I will put them all to shame. OOC: I know lot of you notice morrowind influence in the whole thing, but I have no intention of mixing the lores up for any reason besides some references. Also, I know dark elfs are not playable, so I made it as a count-as human :P
  6. Am I the only one ready to disregard towns and live in the wilds?
