You cant cast spells in water (like targeting water) and we are too weak to hold weapons. Still, you can always punch someone...its not like we have glass bones

Pholom, the REASON we are not allowed to use weapons is because they are too heavy. However, if you whack someone with a staff (for .5 hearts of damage) this makes sense RP wise. If you use a diamond sword = ban. ALSO Let me clarify a few misconceptions about magic. According to Availer, and the original development of both the Ascended and Undead they are both supposed to have equally as powerful OFFENSIVE magic. The Ascended are not support, they do not have buffs. Their entire goal is to trap and exterminate Undead. We do not have "less powerful" magic, our magic can just be used for other things than destruction. Please keep that in mind when responding to these threads.

As far as I know, no magic in areas where people can't respond (ie cities or regioned areas).

My only problem with this whole cthulu thing is that you are not creating any lore yourself. Also, you are referencing cities and sea monsters which have not been mentioned in the lore anywhere. Sure dwarves and elves are in other games, but in Aegis they all have their unique backstories and lore which make them fit into the lore. You offer none of that. Also, before making a guild or a villian app you should have submitted the lore for approval by both the community and GM team. In my opinion, this entire idea should be destroyed and not allowed to advance. The creation of this cult is exactly the same as a cult following thor or even a cult following my little ponies. There is a fine line between what will cut it as Aegis lore, and what won't. If you want to make some sea monster lore, go ahead. Don't call it Cthulu, and don't try to make an entire guild worshipping something that hasn't even been accepted into the lore yet. Just my two cents.

There will be two sets of trials this week! The first will be on Wednesday at 7:00 PST. If you need classes, they will only be offered on Sunday. Once we finalize this weeks new recruits, they will have their trials on Sunday also at 7:00 PST. **Please try to make at least one of the sessions, reply to this thread stating whether you can make it or not!** Please be in OOC at the time of the trials. I think we should wait till the map reset, I plan on becoming very involved with this clan then! Right now we may be able to build a small manor, but on the new map we shall build Irongut Hold! The finest city in all the land. ((Also the terrain in 1.8 will be much better....I see a possible riverside city!))

After examining the lineage of the Ironguts, I have realized that I too am an Irongut! I feel proud to be a part of this old and distinguished lineage!

The Sages are often busy with other issues. We try to be involved, but don't notice everything. It is not just performing goods, you also have to be good at RP and building. ((most of the time the Sages are either planning RP events or dealing with administrative stuff))

Oi! Stop the hatred on the orcs and the Ascended! Without either, the battle would have been lost! We should be congratulating each other, celebrating the battle! Long live Aegis.

I gave credit to all the peoples of Aegis, every person in attendance was equally important. Every person greatly contributed to the great victory and the defeat of the Undead. I simply wished to focus on the Ascended, since this was our first battle! In my original scroll, you could see that I specifically thanked Freya, who isn't an Ascended. Native, I would also wish to thank you, for I saw many elven warriors shooting down zombies, and undead, with their ever accurate shots!

Today, we successfully defended Sanjezal from Undead invasion. The defense was led by the Ascended, under the Command of Sage Sue. The FOA and several Ascended members were in attendance and valiantly defended the walls!I would like to thank all the peoples in attendance, with out you we very could have lost the battle. Sage Sue, and several others, including Freya, jumped off the walls and slew several Undead. We owe our lives to these valiant warriors! What better way to announce a return, then with a defeat of the Undead! Hail Aeriel! Long Live Aegis!
