  3. (( If anyone remembers me from "way back when" then...hello there :v I got that roleplay itch that you just can't scratch playing anything else. I don't know anyone and I'm sure most if not all don't remember me, so I figured it'd be best to just create a whole new bio but still keep some elements of my old one.))

Back durin' tha reign o' Good King Simpa, there lived a dwarf named Ever. He were a simple dwarf, loved tha ale, but also wished ta be a great craftsman. Late at night, after a rough day o' workin' the mine, he returned home ta find a book layin' on his bed. Now this book was unsigned, but he had a feelin' that it came from tha' Wandering Wizard himself. It was the written history o' the history of Aegis. The book ignited a spiritual flame deep inside, movin' him deeply.

Not long afta this awakening, the king was lookin' for a council of men to help lead tha city. Ever jumped at tha chance and was elected to be the Dwarven archbishop. Ever felt a need to take a trip out to tha wilderness. None can really say for sure why he went, but every'un has their own theory. The job was stressful 'n he needed a break. Or maybe he left to build a house o' worship to help train the clergy. One thing for sure, he neva returned.

Much time had passed, n' the world o' Aegis had changed. A mysterious dwarf had appeared recently, wanderin' about tha landscape. Some would say he's a nice enough fellow, only askin' fer directions to tha nearest bar or inn. There's always a feelin' o' familiarity around this dwarf. His beard, although quite a bit longer, was tha same color o' the missin' archbishop and he too wore a belt with an embedded diamond. It was jus' coincidence though, fer surely that missin' archbishop died way out in the wilderness long ago, aye?

But say he really was tha missin' bishop, returned back home? Where had he been? He doesn't seem to speak. Only about nonsense and ale. He speaks o' the magical diamond in his belt and a land of golden rivers. Seems more likely ta be a wanderin' drunk than a religious leader. Who knows really if this dwarf, who also goes by the name ever, be the same from long ago, or if he's a wanderin' drunk who adopted the name. What we do know is that ya should giv the man another ale, cus the bar tales he tells are amazin'

(( I dunno, it's late. I'll go over this, clean some stuff up, add some stuff. We'll see. ))

  4. OOC: So a lot of things went down recently. Didn't have internet for a LONG time. (Really sucked, lol.) Well. That's all that really happened. Had a decent summer, though no internet for two months really sucked, no lies. We finally got internet a few days ago so I'm lookin' to play again.

'm not sure where to start. Tha council had just been elected, 'n Charles took the role of King. I liked tha man, he took the role of leadaship when no 'un else did. B'fore our first meetin' as the council, I had ta take a trip out to meh cabin, way out in the wilderness.

I had a strange feelin'. It weren't a good one, though. I sent off a few le'ers, packed lightly, and set off. I arrived afta a day o' travel. Nothin' was out o' place, but I couldn't shake that feelin' o' despair.

I still wasn't sure why I went out 'o my way to take a trip out to tha wilderness. Maybe it were tha works o' the Merciful Creator o' the Seven Skies, or maybe even Iblees...

I awoke in tha snow. Tha sun was jus' peakin' o'er a range o' mountains. My cabin was nowhere in sight. I was loss in the middle o' nowhere. I cannot begin ta explain what wonders n' horrors I saw.

Forests of gold, rivers n' lakes o' fire. I explored tha lands for quite some time. I never felt the pain o' hunger, or the need for wa'er. Tha elements o' this place seemed to be out o' whack. It would rain for weeks at a time, and then it would be as arid as a desert fer months.

I begged tha Merciful Creator to guide me, ta lead me back to the land o' my peoples. At last I had given up, and begged fer Him to just kill me. Ta end my sufferin', that I may at least rest with mah ancestors above. As I lay on tha ground, I felt a hand on mah shoulder. My vision grew dark n' I welcomed death. I awoke outside o' my house, which has fallen into disrepair.

I'm not quite sure how long I've been gone, or what's wrong with the world. How have tha people fared in mah absence?

OOC: Also, is there a new white list or something? I can't seem to connect, I keep getting "bad login". Also, if you don't know who I am/don't remember me, I was the Dwarven Archbishop. I was often hanging out at the guard gate, occasionally telling stories and stuff.
