Paunch grew to be an exceptional Miner carrying twice his weight in work. one day the mine caved in while Paunch was working late. caved in for hours. Paunch crawled out of the rubble only to be found by slave traders. He was put into hard labor on the smithy making weapons. he was beaten and over worked. over time Paunch grew bitter and vengeful. A Riot broke out during his enslavement. during the chaos Paunch managed to escape back home to Krugnar where he form with the remaining escapees. one day the gang stole a valuable sword. The smith put a reward for the return of the sword and capture of the culprits. not being part of the thievery, Paunch took the opportunity to return the sword and rat out the gang members.instead of taking the reward. Paunch counters the offer for the black smith's apprentenceship. 6 years later a gang member broke out of prison to exact his revenge. but The gang member failed to kill paunch but at the cost of the blacksmiths life. no one to run the smithy.
