  1. Hail Havent seen you in ages mate would you be able to contact me in game when im on I would love to buy some equipment for the army thanks

  2. ((Agreed, but Tac&Co have said that this idea is too close to theirs and that a lot of their ideas have been used and for this reason this organization can't continue))
  3. *Removes application submissions, and all regarding information* ((This topic can be deleted))
  4. ((I have thought about it, however i did believe there shouldn't just be one company like this. creates a slight monopoly, having two could create friendly competition that could benefit the economy. Tac&Co also has many other aspects to it, such as the entertainment, headhunting and building, whereas this is purely just a merchant company that specializes in trading and uses this narrow field to offer a equaling or better service to the public. We also have no set price increases such as the 10%increase on buying, using limiters instead to give the merchants better control over the shop, it also creates competition within the organization that can be regulated, as far as i know this is one of the only groups that records contracts and regulates them between the traders/shopkeepers))
  5. Removed ((Can Be Deleted)) I'm wishing to start a small business running a few shops run under strict policy ((much like Tac&Co. ill admit)). If you already own a shop scroll down to the bottom and read the information there. The Policy is as follows: -To create a safe, legal trading environment for traders, merchant and harvesters of raw goods alike. -To create an environment where all parties involved get the best deal possible. -To enhance the trade within a nation, increasing the local economy of that area. -Not flooding the market with cheap goods, creating a competitive trading environment. -To stabilize the local economy, by creating safe trading environments that everyone profits from. -To provide the best possible service and prices to the public. -To allow shopkeepers within an area to have an agreed base rate on prices, to avoid constant undercutting to the detriment of the traders.. -To reduce major undercutting, that damages the economy of the area -Producing a stable income for all people involved within the company right from the raw material gatherers to the shopkeepers and merchants. The idea of this organization is to help strengthen the economy of local areas, to bring a steady income to all its members (with occasional bonuses) and to bring competitive prices to the public. High Ranking Members: Owner/Head Overseer: Alex Benjamin ((OliTassell)) Public Trade Overseer: Vacant Internal Trade Overseer: Vacant Labor Overseer: Vacant Diplomat: Vacant (Not Currently Needed) Current Jobs Available: Shopkeeper: The person that will run the shop will keep the majority of the money they make and have near complete control over the shop (Prices, Appearance, Stock, Name). Unless i see it to not be in the shops best interest then i shall inform you otherwise. The Merchant and Shopkeepers may agree a set price and quantity before the merchant starts traveling (orders) which are a binding contract, that has to be agreed on by both the shopkeeper and the merchant, of which the delivery has to be made, read the Contracts section to find out what happens if a deadline is not made. The shopkeeper will keep the money they make with me taking 15% of the profits this means if someone was to buy an item for 30minas and sold it at 40minas, i would take 1.5minas of the profits. (40-30)*0.15 (Sell Prices - Buy Price)*Take(15%) Merchant: I'm also looking for a traveling merchant to go around the lands buying at the best prices they can. They will be paid on the goods they collect and may be given certain 'special' orders to obtain certain goods that are low in stock by the Shopkeepers. The buying and selling should be enough to make the merchant suitable money and they may every so often be paid extra for certain deliveries that are needed (Supply and Demand). The merchant is also still free to buy items and sell them along the route, as long as they deliver the required goods to the shopkeepers, for which they will be paid upon delivery. The Merchant and Shopkeepers may agree a set price and quantity before the merchant starts traveling (orders) which are a binding contract, that has to be agreed on by both the shopkeeper and the merchant, of which the delivery has to be made or the money given back plus 5% for failure to meet the deadlines. Must offer best possible price to shopkeepers (no more then 25%mark-up). Must sell slightly higher to affiliates (no lower then 15%mark-up but still lower then other shopkeepers not within the company (no lower then 15%~20% mark-up). This only applies onto goods which shopkeepers wish to buy and you are informed of them wishing to buy said item, if not any price may be sold at by the merchant. Must Follow the Merchant Hierarchy (Read Below). Farmers: I need someone that can deliver lots of cheap wheat and sugar cane on a regular basis. They will be paid in accordance to how much they can deliver and how regular these deliveries are. May act as Gatherers during the time their crops are growing, as long as this doesn't affect the ability of them to meet their deadlines Hunters: Hunters are needed to collect items from the creatures that roam the world, day and night. To supply the shopkeepers with the materials they need such as: Wool, Feathers, Leather, Arrows, Bows, (dropped) Ores. They will be paid depending on how many goods they can deliver and how regularly, the more goods they deliver the more they get paid and the same goes for how high the demand is for these materials. These workers are not allowed to sell to anyone else unless no shop stocks the items they have, if a shop needs the items they must sell to them before selling to another place even if the price is lower. However they may be given bonuses, gear, food and a place to stay. Gatherers: Gathers are expected to work in the day much the same as the Hunters, gathering materials from the animals such as: Feathers, Leather, Pork chops, Wool. However they are not expected to hunt the dangerous creatures that emerge at night and instead are expected to gather other raw materials such as: Gravel, Flint, Cobblestone, Coal, Wood, Sand. To meet the shops needs. Like the hunters, these workers are not allowed to sell to anyone else unless no shop stocks the items they have, if a shop needs the items they must sell to them before selling to another place even if the price is lower. However they may be given bonuses, gear, food and a place to stay. They shall also be paid on how many of the goods they deliver and how much they are needed by the shops. Overview: Shopkeeper: Works in a shop that I own, they set the prices they wish to sell and buy at. Have near complete control over the shop. Pays tax dependent on rank. Sometimes given low bonuses Merchant: Runs routes around the towns collecting the goods the shopkeepers need. Can sell other goods on the route to supplement their profits. Can create set price contracts with the shopkeepers to give a steady income. Sometimes given medium bonuses. May be given some items to protect themselves or given items by shopkeepers to sell. Must offer best possible price to shopkeepers (no more then 25%mark-up). Must sell slightly higher to affiliates (no lower then 15%mark-up but still lower then other shopkeepers. Must Follow the Merchant Hierarchy (Read Below) Farmer: Farms the crops they have and sells them to the shopkeepers that require those crops. Sometimes given small bonuses. Sometimes given equipment such as Hoes and Swords (Usually of stone, lowest grade). Can act as Gatherers while crops are growing Hunters: Hunt all animals that roam the lands. Not expected to gather other materials but may be ordered to if demand is high. Sell to shopkeepers. Sometimes given large bonuses. May be given a small place to stay (in a shop or group house), food and equipment (Of a higher standard then Gatherers, usually Iron/Leather). Gatherers: Hunts the animals that emerge during the day. Are not expected to hunt the animals at night. Gather raw materials such as wood. Sell to the shopkeepers. Sometimes given low bonuses. May be given a small place to stay, food and equipment (Of a lower standard then Hunters, usually Leather/Stone). Merchant Hierarchy: This hierarchy is to benefit the shopkeepers that are within the company and pay the most tax. The merchants must deal to shopkeepers higher up the hierarchy even if they can sell somewhere at a higher price, this to help benefit the organization as a whole and keep the money flowing within, strengthening our economy. The Hierarchy is as follows (and may be subject to change, Check regularly): Shopkeepers (No more then 15%mark-up) Joint Ownership (No more then 20%mark-up) Members (No less then 15% mark-up) Affiliates (No less then 20% mark-up) Others (No less then 22.5%mark-up) Mark-up is the difference between buying and selling price. If an item was brought at 20minas and sold at 25minas the mark-up would be (25/20=1.25, 1.25 as percentage increase is 25%mark-up, effectively the profit made. (overall 125%increase in price, 25%profit)) Bonuses: Range from Large to Small in this order, (lowest to highest) Small, Low, Medium and Large. These bonuses reflect the overall wealth of the group and how well they are performing at their current occupation. Contracts: A contract may be made by: Made By: To: Shopkeeper -> Merchant, Farmer, Hunter, Gatherer Merchant -> Shopkeeper, Farmer, Hunter, Gatherer Farmer -> Shopkeeper, Merchant Hunter -> Shopkeeper, Merchant Gatherer -> Shopkeeper, Merchant A Contract is a binding agreement between two parties that both sides must deliver what has been promised, it is legally binding. Both sides must meet their agreed amount (usually either money/goods or goods/goods). If a contract is agreed by both parties I must be informed, for the off chance that the contract may be broken i then have a record of the event. If may also be made that a book is wrote by each party of what they will deliver to the other person, this is then signed and given to the other party so they have a record of what has been promised. Failure of one party to deliver their goods/money will result in a trial, with evidence being collected about why that party could not meet the required deadline. The fines can result in 105% compensation of the order price to the afflicted party from the others account, a free order of 105% or less of the previous order price (normally made if the merchant cannot meet the cash compensation or has the majority of the order), a extended time in the order or a 125%(+25% to the company, 150% total fine) fine of the order if it had been made fraudulent by one party. Contracts are handled internally, unless they break one of the nations laws where the guards will then be informed and it will then be handled by them. Already A Shop Owner? If you already own a shop you have a few options, these are as follows: -Run the shop inside the company as a Member at a better tax rate (7.5%), you still own the shop, and can use our merchants. -Become an affiliate, you can use our merchants and providers however the price will be slightly increased to what shopkeepers in the company buy at. Ultra Low tax rate (2.5%) -Joint Ownership, the company buys half of the shop, slightly better tax rate (10%) can use merchants at a slightly higher price then shopkeepers -Sell the shop to the company and become a shopkeeper, highest tax rate, highest discount on goods. 6. In-game name: Alex Benjamin The position you wish to take: Manager/Head Shopkeeper Why you want to join our company: I run a successful business already, "The Open Quiver" in Alkhazar ((link in my signature)), but I find that without enough people supplying me with raw materials that I often run out of goods restricting the money i can make, which often deters people from visiting if I cannot meet their orders. Joining a larger organization will give me the ability to make sure that i don't run out of stock by using the suppliers and couriers of Tac & Co, giving me the stability i need to expand my trading prospects. I also find that now days i can not meet many of the prices in other shops, due to the fact i have to buy my own materials from other traders who have now decided to cut out the middle man and go straight into selling the finished goods themselves. Joining Tac & Co. will allow me to enhance the service that i already offer to make more money. I just find it difficult to meet the larger orders that people want now, with some orders running into the 1000's of minas, i can't get the materials together quick enough, and cheap enough, for them. Being apart of a group that controls the supplies will allow me to meet these demands more easily and become better known as a reliable trader. How much do you devote yourself to our cause: Wholeheartedly, to make money for myself and in turn Tac & Co. For shopkeepers, will you be able to supply yourself? Sometimes, i find it difficult to come across some of the goods i need such as a large quantity of feathers for arrows etc. I can supply some of my own stock through a small farm i have growing wheat, sugar cane and wood. I Mainly need things such as iron, feathers and flint whereas the rest of my stock either comes from my farm supplemented by items brought from other traders/suppliers.
