I am a Minecraft player who loves to build, mine and create redstone creations. When not on minecraft I camp, ski, and hang out with my friends.

About 20 hours weekly but less during school.
What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:
Roleplaying is like acting out a character in a play but you have to make up the lines. While Roleplaying it is important to stay in character and try to think and react like he would in the situations you are in.
What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:
I used to causally Roleplay with my friends, but I have been watching my brother play this server and he has given me many tips.
In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:
Meta-Gaming is when you get information that your character would never be able to know. For example when mining if you use F3 to find your depth, your character would never be able to find that information out.
In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is:
Power-Emoting is when you emote your character doing something that someone else would not be able to respond to. For example if I were to emote, "Bob stabs Steve in the stomach and guts him like a pig," that would be Power-Emoting because in that situation Steve has no way of responding.
What do you expect this server will be like?:
I expect this server to be very good and a lot of fun I have wandered around as a wandering soul.
What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:
I have played servers that have changed from what they started as and I disliked the changes so I decided to leave.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):
Patrick Handler came out of the womb mining for diamonds. Well, not quite. His father was a miner in a small village. He didn't know his mother, and his dad never said anything nice about her. His dad was always in the mines trying to make enough to get by.
Because his father was always in the mines Patrick had to learn how to survive from an early age. He cooked his own meals and took care of himself. By the time he was 14 his father was hanged, he had been caught stealing from the other miners. Patrick took his fathers place in the mines now needing a source of income. At first he was not trusted but he earned their trust through hard work. As a miner Patrick excelled in finding enough ores to meet his quota and then some. Eventually he left the village and began to wander.
Patrick may not be the most hansom man in Asulon but for a twenty one year old he is one of the most hardworking, one of the toughest, and honorable people. Although he may have some trust issues and isn't giving to relying on others for support because his father was never there for him.
What are your Character's ambitions?:
He wants to make a good life for himself and if he were to have a family he wants to be there for them.

Other Information about your Character:
Unlike many other miners Patrick rarely drinks alcohol because he thinks it inhibits his ability to mine.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?
I would walk up to the group, and confront the two men saying, "Why are you harassing this halfling?"
(Well call thug 1 Steve, thug 2 Herobrine, and the halfling Notch.)
Steve responds, "Why don't you just mind your own bloody business?"
Herobrine affirms Steve's statement saying, "Yeah mind your own business!"
Notch chimes in pleading, "Please sir help me they want to take my money! I need it to buy food for my family!"
I being slightly angry that they are trying to take a man's well earned pay respond, "I would mind my own business if you weren't trying to take this man's money! Make your own!"
Steve furrows his brow annoyed by my remarks. "We'll be taking your money too just for that!"
Herobrine again affirming Steve says, "Yeah hand it over!"
Notch looks to me slightly desperate and whispers, "They're not letting us out of this one easy!"
I smirk having a plan. I reach into my pack and pull out a golden ingot I just had smithed after I found it in the mines.
Herobrine's eyes light up, "Ooooh!" he exclaims.
Smiling I say, "You like it? Here you can have it!" As Herobrine draws closer I throw the Ingot off of the sanctuary into the water below. Herobrine chases after it jumping into the water.
"Damn it!" exclaims Steve as he begins climbing down the sanctuary to see if his friend is alright.
I whisper to Notch, "Run!"
He nods and takes off. I turn and do the same.
Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?
I would respond, "Hail good sir, barter some food or tools for my ores?"
The man scratches his chin and says, "I 'fink we can arrange somfing. What 'ave you got?"
"I just took a short trip to the mines so I have a few chunks of iron ore and some coal."
"Hmm I need some more coal," says the man after thinking a bit. "'ow does five beef steaks for fifteen lumps of coal sound?"
I scrath my head trying to do some math in my head and finally respond, "Could you do six steaks for fifteen coal?"
"That's a good enough deal," the man says as he extends his hand for a handshake.
Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:
"Hello?" I would say trying to find the owner of these possessions, "Is anyone there?" I would begin looking around the hut trying to find if anyone was there. Upon stepping into the basement I hear some scurrying footsteps. "Hello? Who is that?" As I draw closer to where I think the being is a goblin jumps out at me with his fists clenched.
"Me Ralo da Gobo!" He exclaims at me, "What latz here for?"
Creeped out by this, I respond, "Err.. I just... I was walking in the woods and found this hut."
"Latz leave or me flat latz!" Ralo says with anger in his eyes.
Not completely understanding what he is saying I respond, "What?"
Ralo unsheathes a small dagger and brandishes it in the air repeating, "Latz leave or me flat latz!"
Understanding his intentions I turn and run out of the hut.
Ralo follows me to the door and screams, "Nub come back!"
Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?
I would respond, "Hail do you have any food? I'm willing to trade some of my things for it. How would I get back to Arethor from here? I was on my way there but I seem to have gotten myself lost."
You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:
Walking up to the captain of the guard I would ask, "Do you need any ores to supply your troops?"
The captain responds, "As a matter of fact we could use a lot of iron, I am willing to pay."
I would rummage through my pack and look for any iron ore I have. After returning home and checking my chest finding 32 chunks of iron I would respond, "I have enough to make 32 ingots."
"Great," Replies the captain with a smile, "Now I will pay you 320 Minas for the whole lot."
After doing the math I would say, "It's a little low but to defend my town alright." After reviving my reward I would walk home with my money pouch a little heavier.
