You must have not read my post. I am not claiming this group will be THE druids of server. These are a new a circle of Druids that are followers of Mother Aegis. I understand there is already a different order of druid. I even couldn't care less if the "real" druids you speak of disapprove. The DoMA will continue to do the will of the Life Mother.

I understand your concern completely. This is why the "earth spirit" will never play physical role in the actual role play. The "earth spirit" is just a religious belief on why the DoMA are so keen on nature. And what drives them to do the things they will do. Nothing more then stories and faith.

This is my Rough Draft for the new Druids of Mother Aegis. Soon to be a new group in game to interact with. I am no writer, more of a logic/math guy. So forgive me on any poor writing style/choices. Comments, Questions, and Concerns are all welcomed, and appreciated. So Who is Mother Aegis? Read the lore and find out :) Lore "The rolling seas, proud mountains and vast landscapes, all in a second, created by God." This creation was known as The World of Aegis. It is told that "the World was not created in play or for fun, but as a theater for the inhabitants of the World to be tested in." We believe that the World was not just created to be used by man, but to be a living entity as well. To live side by side with mankind. Was man not once a hollow, spiritless shell? Only to be given life by the Creator himself? It is told that "God blew his own breath of existence into the hollow shell and the Man lived." Aegis was given the same gift. Mother Aegis was born. Mother Aegis, is responsible for all things created by the Creator. Nature, as we would call it. Although it was God who was ultimately responsible for both Man and Aegis's life, we owe the Life Mother for our physical existence. It is told that "man was sculptured with clay and water." The creator used Aegis itself to create man. We are all connected. We both use our existence to mutually benefit each other. It is no coincidence that both man and nature both produce substances that keep the other living. But we are not equals. God created the World, and together they created Man. Life is just a borrowed privilege, and is to be returned upon death. While our spirit is returned to the creator, our body is given back to the world. To be eventually broken down into simpler forms of matter, and turned into nutrients which nature will use to grow. Those who believe in this, who fight for this, are considered Druids of Mother Aegis. We are Doma. Protectors of all that is living. Both mankind, and Nature. Although we can not speak or see the Life Mother, we can feel her in our souls. Our faith is what guides us. We live for her. We fight for her. We die for her. Although I feel this works in conjunction to the current lore, it is subject to change if there is any inconsistencies or constrictions. We are not heretics, we work along side the already created lore of the creator, god. Ancient History Although the Life Mother is just a spirit that inhabits the World, this wasn't always the case. It is told that she once had a psychical form, a women. Most likely the wife of Malin, as he, and his elves "were the first to create a tongue and begin to name the trees and grass, the mountains and valleys across all of Aegis." Along side with her help no doubt. Who better to decide what the World's nature shall be named, then Mother Aegis herself. When she died, instead of her spirit returning to God, both her body and spirit was returned to the World. The rest of this is a rough draft with the intention of one day actually being a group that will be roleplayed in game. With a recruitment, ranks, in game lore, a base. You know, the good stuff. As for now, it is just an idea, a story. It's not going to sound exciting to join at first. This is all written in Information mode to get the idea out there. If it catches on, I will write the good stuff. Modern History: We are Druids. Supporters, and Protectors of the Life Mother. Working side by side, we are able to preserve and expand life. We use Farming, also known as Herbology to produce materials that benefit not only mankind, but her as well. We do not believe in violence, but we will use the tools nature provides us to defend what is ours. If you threaten the Mother, you in turn threaten us. We are hard working people, who understand life is a privilege. When you die, your body is given to Mother Aegis for her own purposes. Monks can not save everyone. However, not every Druid is on the same page. It is rumored that there are some druids who practice Necromancy. It is an insult to bring back which has already been returned. Perhaps Iblees corruption is hard at work to bring down what is sacred. So you want to be a Druid of the Life Mother? You are not born a Druid, you are created a Druid. If and when you decide to be part of her life, all is left behind, and all is forgiven. Your past means nothing, it is all about your future. You must first go on a self discovery. Decide what tree you represent, and why. As tradition, all Druids of Mother Aegis are to be assigned a new name. Representing your rebirth. This name of course, will be the tree you represent. Who am I? I am Archdruid Rowan. The Rowan has long been honored by the Druids for its balance of beauty and toughness. The Rowan is known for it's Protection, Expression, and Connection. As your Leader and Mentor, I have taken it upon myself to master these traits. What to expect next? The Tree of Life. This will be our Embassy of the Druids. More on the Lore and Information later. My previous name was not to my own personal standards to be my RP name for this server. I changed it to fit more into this servers RP style. I have been playing on RP servers on many different online games for many years. I recently left a game called Freelancer. When Microsoft disbanded the servers, a gaming community, known as Discovery, picked it right back up. The server was hardcore role play. Communicating before engaging in battle, becoming your player. You know, the fun stuff. Overall, not only do I understand RP, but I enjoy it as well -What do you expect this server will be like?: I hope the player base on this server will be intelligent role players, and will be able to stimulate my role play experience. From what I read, this server should be exactly what I am looking for. -What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have been off and on from many different types of servers. I stalk the forums for decent RP servers, but all have been sub par to say the least. -Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? What about the lore?: What makes a great server are the rules. Not only are your rules fair, but they make the game more exciting. The lore was fascinating, and I loved reading it. He is the type who believes nothing in the world is free. Everything in life must be earned through hard work. He will give sweat and tears into any task, no matter how simple. He prefers a small hard working community as apposed to a big crowded city.
