So, Turin is a simple little character (pun). He's great, and already I can see that he'll make a fine addition to Axios. However, there are a couple of things I'd like to know about him first.

Biography,

I like that Turin has immigrated from elsewhere. Could you tell me about his life before this? I imagine he is an interesting character, and I feel his life before moving was just as interesting as it is now that he has arrived in Axios.

Strengths and Weaknesses,

Because Turin is quite a simple chap to start with, it is quite easy to get by with only a couple strengths and weaknesses. This is fine, but I would prefer if you went into a bit more depth. Why is he so callous? Maybe he had a poor childhood., or was the subject to bullying from his locals. Try and adapt on this as it will solidify the basis of your roleplay!

Questions and Answers

Does that mean you forget ALL prior events or just the few events prior to roleplay death?

When / if your character is fatally harmed, the Cloud Temple Monks may use their power to restore your character to life. When this happens, you may not return to your place of death in hopes of deterring any conflict regarding poor roleplay etiquette. In terms of memory, your character will lose the few events prior and cannot retain / regain this knowledge. For example, if I were to hold a coup against a local lord and get slain in my attempt, I would lose my memory of holding the coup.

With everything considered, there aren't many changes to make. It would have been an easy acceptance otherwise, so congratulations. Please remember to make these changes within 24 hours, otherwise I will have to deny this attempt.

I quite like Falrer, he seems like the right kind of badass to lead a mercenary guild and take some names.

It would be great to see why Falrer dislikes the Kharajyr. Maybe once, a Kha'Tigrasi scorned him, and since then he has never trusted them. 

Ambitions,

I like the idea of a mercenary guild. There may be plenty in Axios, but Falrer may end up joining another, who knows? I'd like to know what drove Falrer to become the mercenary type. If this app were mine, I would have Falrer encounter some kind of epiphany in his early years - that life is cruel and you have to fight your way to the top.

Strengths and Weaknesses,

There is a good balance here that I enjoy. Being good at being up close and person but not necessarily a ranged fighter. I also like that you have allowed him to be more than a weapons specialist. Seeing what his behaviour around the opposite sex is like is a nice detail. All I would say is that I'd like to see more than two lines per question. Just a little bit more - tell me about his traits. Is he kind? Does he have a lot of pride? Is he wildly aggressive? Perhaps he likes to eat too much.

All in all, I seem to just want to know more about your character, which is completely normal for applications. Please remember to make these changes within 24 hours, otherwise I will have to deny this application.

C H A R A C T E R    P R O F I L E S

Hey lads, lasses and everything in between,

There's only one rule for this little forum section, and that is to try and PM an FM if your character is inactive or if you would like their profile to be placed elsewhere (like inactive characters). There won't be any penalty for not doing so, just helps to keep this section clean.

An FM may PM you after an extensive period of time if your profile is older than say, a year.

I respect your points. I will say however, that the FM team deals with a few more empirical responsibilities than accepting applications, so we have an easier time allowing each other to contribute to the general workload, but also respect that if one FM does all the archiving for the week it will reflect on the quota, prompting other FMs to find different tasks to do (therefore encouraging a more general sweep of the forums rather than just filling your quota and buggering off). Publicising the data is only an act of transparency which has been requested many times in the past by users. 

To properly discuss your opinion, you guys should definitely avoiding insulting somebody and their work, or even the people critiquing the submission. Please head this as a warning because otherwise, I'll be locking this thread which will make it difficult for the submission to be accepted.

Oh, and I'll also slap some plebs in the process.

It really bothers me that you're wearing a vest under a t-shirt in one of the more hotter countries in the world.

Hire him for his accent and then maybe for his skills.

I personally haven't encountered this issue, though I imagine it is quite common. As someone with little experience actually managing the tools we have in place here, I would recommend clearing out your cache (usually in your browser's history settings) and refreshing your browser to see if it fixes the problem. Calling on any developers to help out pls.
