I haven't been on much recently. I really don't have any excuse other than that I've been playing team fortress 2 instead of minecraft. I'll be sure to get on at some points, but I won't be on as much as I was two weeks ago. You can friend me on steam or visit my clan website to come play tf2 with me if you want. Also, the ascended are building a northern city. We should get in on that.

I'm back but I won't be able to get on today. Tomorrow I'll get on and check out the base and stuff. @James: Has everyone in snowy fields been informed of our moving in? And will we get building rights in it? Thanks for giving us it, even if you do think it's bad. I'm sure it'll be fine.

I'm going camping for a week, so I won't be on until Saturday, probably Sunday even. Good luck in the mean time.

As a human resident of Kal'Urguan, I will try to come watch, but I can't compete. It'll be interesting but slow, I think. At least it will be watching 8 people build instead of just one.

Yes, please do go into detail on the night walkers. And I've already posted my fort idea. LPs and more books do sound like good ideas. We might get more recruits that way, and they'll be fun to make, watch, and read. The fact that we have our own permanent TS channel probably will give us intrigue, too, which will get more recruits hopefully. And I found a spot that works for my idea.

Both his parents are dead. Am I the only person here with my mother still alive? I only left my big brothers and sister behind on the farm because my dad didn't leave me anything in his will after his calm, peaceful death. They're all still alive, but everyone's bio says they have no living family. No offense to anyone, but it's pretty funny. I guess it's the easiest way to write a story about starting out on the server. And his apps drowned out my sexy idea.

My idea was that we should make a base with less ambition and less likelihood of undead attack. That being a fancy way of saying we should make it smaller and more south. I know we're supposed to be an ancient order that's always been defending against undead, but in ancient times, when the base was theoretically built, the northern border of inhabited aegis was more south than it is now. I was thinking we could have it south of snowy fields or in between alkhazar and snowy fields. It should also be smaller and without a moat. The walls should be shorter and actually rectangular instead of whatever they were. This will be easier on relatively flat land instead of building it in a small valley. One larger gate and no bridges. There'd still be enogh room for buildings, though. I have a plan in my head for the above-ground complex, if you'd let me lead construction. I don't have a place in mind specifically yet, but I could scout one out. We should also go back and make our old base look like a ruin. Clean it up and make it look like a wrecked castle.

You should keep the roster on the first post updated instead of making new posts with a new roster. I was away at my parents' friends' lake house yesterday so I guess I missed a lot. I logged in and I was like lulwut. So are we going to make another base or something?

Looking at the spells for different races, the one thing I thought was that the human "portal to ____" spells should be the four race capitals, not including the temple and haven in there. My suggested order of portal spells is, respectively in order of tier, Al'Khazar, Kal'Urguan, Sanjazar, and Laurelin. Also, force ride is a... strange... idea.

That's a good point you have there. Thanks for the rank-up, though I was kinda kidding. Me kidding isn't a good enough reason to de-rank me though B) Any estimate on when we will start building? I've got TeamSpeak so we could take an empty channel on that when we start up.

This sounds like a great idea. You wouldn't need to rehearse the play too much so long as the actors could check their lines off of a forum post script or something. Actors should be paid more, though. You'd get better quality and quantity of applicants if you raised it more from the start.

I'm looking for a low-price house in Al'Khazar. Are any available, even? And one thing I want to be 100% sure of: would I be the only person able to open doors and chests in my property other than admins? This goes for any house anywhere.

Also, could you describe the specific jobs of the super secret squad? And if it isn't too bold to say, I think that me looking for allies is proof enough that I should be promoted to Lost Commander. Or at least Lost Captain.

I think he meant what would he have to do alternatively to being there on Saturday because he isn't available then, not what would he have to do as part of the ascended class. That sentence was so hard to write.
