I am also a patient, reserved person with only a few close friends. I often get bored on a daily basis because I run out of things to do. -How much time could you be on the server weekly?: 15 Hours (probably more) -How long have you played minecraft?: Since March, so roughly 4 months -What do you know about roleplaying? How long have you been doing it? What kind?: I know how to roleplay. I know how to think as the character I have created and make the decisions he/she would make. It comes naturally to me, and I never break character. I have roleplayed for several years, starting with various DnD-style game sessions and moving on to various internet roleplaying forums (where I was less active). -What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect to find a well developed world with villages and farms, political conflict, merchants in every town, etc. I have high hopes for what this server has to offer. -What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have not played on a multiplayer minecraft server that was larger than maybe 15 players and none that were well known (mostly friends servers). I left most of them out of boredom or hatred for silly rules. -Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? What about the lore?: Yes, I have read, understood, and I agree to the rules listed. I have read most, if not all, of the lore. -Name the 4 races on this server. The youngest of 7 brothers, Gief learned the ins and outs of life the hard way. His parents Evelynn and Domitan were poor and could hardly provide the necessities for their boys. It was not uncommon to go a day without food, or a few years without new clothing (the plus side of being the youngest was getting all of the hand-me-downs). The oldest of Gief's brothers, Holland, was skilled with magic and went into Oren's military as soon as he was of age, their parting was difficult and Gief hasn't spoken to his brother since. The rest of Gief's brothers went to their own odds and ends. Three of them went to various merchant trades. One went to try and become a scribe or clerk for the political family. The second youngest brother, Aedan, got in trouble with the law all his life, and eventually became a fugitive. Gief has not seen his closest age brother since then as well. Gief's teenage life revolved around working odd jobs to help his parents pay for food and assisting the people of his village with daily tasks. He has decided to follow his brother Holland's footsteps and work to join a part of Oren's military or Guards, to protect the people. -Character Age: 23 -Character Appearance: A handsome and fit young man. He is roughly six feet tall and fair skinned. His simple brown hair disguises his appearance as plain until one gets close enough to see his icey blue-green eyes. -Character Personality: Trustworthiness is his defining quality; Gief is someone to be relied upon. He is polite and calm, but not afraid to laugh disruptively or to poke fun at friends. His determination and confidence is outstanding. Sometimes causing disbelief to others. No task appears too large to handle when Gief is there to denounce the impossible. Gief may appear over the top at times, being outlandish in his expectations, but he appears to be able to bring himself down from the clouds in an instant, discusses matters seriously. It is difficult for people to tell whether Gief really believes in all the tough talk he spouts, or if he just puts on airs to bestow confidence unto others, while he himself worries and remains unsure. -Your ambitions: To protect the people of the land in whatever way he can. To find his lost brothers and bring back his connections with them. To become a great swordsman and be undefeatable in combat. And lastly to find love, though he would never admit this ambition to anyone. -Can your character read or write?: He can read and write fairly well, yes. -Can your character mine?: Reasonably, but not efficiently, yes. -Are you a capable builder? Yes. -Can you wield a sword?: Yes, very well. -Enjoy Farming?: No. -Does your character have any special skills?: Gief determined from a young age that if his brother could use magic, he had to have something to make him unbeatable as well.
