His father is Aerandir Falassion, a great Elvin warrior who is a master of archery. His mother is Nessa Galathil, an Elvin women who is a great equestrian among the elves. Mahtan has lived among the Woodland Elves his whole life, learning the skills of his people in order to become a great warrior like his father. Mahtan has one brother, Elrond Falassion, and one sister, Celebriän Galathil. Mahtan is the oldest of his siblings and is also the most mischievous of his siblings. Mahtan can normally be found playing practical jokes among his siblings and other residents of the Woodland Elves. Mahtan likes to laugh and to make others laugh in any way possible. Mahtan is infamous for hiding up in the trees and jumping down to scare others when they least expect it. Even though he has done this many times, he is still able to pull this prank on his peers. He has mastered the horse, like his mother, and has become an expert at equestrian riding. Mahtan wants to become a master of archery like his father and it is one of his ambitions in life. He is one of the fastest of the Woodland Elves. He has won many competions involving his speed. He is quick on his feet and can climb a tree like a monkey. That day was a day I would never forget. while wondering along the gravel road a high elf adult walked to me. "Hello there young-ling are you lost?"
