Out-Of-Character: -Minecraft Account Name: dacorn123 -How old are you?: 13 yrs. -Time-Zone/Country of Residence: USA (Eastern Time Zone) -Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes, English is my first language and I'm a grammar FREAK! :lol: So yes, I believe in my grammar. :D -Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I'm a fun-loving person that loves Minecraft. I play it in my spare time and like using multiplayer servers because you get to interact with other players. I always like to build up my reputation on a server by being friendly and a good player. ^_^ -How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Hmmm... Probably 4-5 days a week and at least 2 hours a day. :) -How long have you played minecraft?: I've had Minecraft for about two years now and I love it! -What do you know about roleplaying?: Roleplaying is almost like living in a storybook, kind of. You're actually living out of your real character in reality and embracing a new character in which you act and live up to. But the thing about RP is that you always have to stay in character so everybody can really visualize the environment that the server is trying to represent. Let's take... Harry Potter, for example. What if the actor that plays Harry in the movie decides that he's not going to act like Harry, he's going to act like himself. That would just ruin the story and the message wouldn't really rub off on anyone. The same thing applies to RP servers. If somebody decides to get out of character at any given time without using a special chat channel for questions and help, it will just sort of ruin a bit of the environment that we are all trying to imagine in our heads. :P -What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect the server will be really fun and I will have to face many challenges also. Thieves, politics, legends and lore... It sounds like a lot of fun and it seems like it will require lots of thought, which I like. It's almost like a huge story that each player gets to add a bit on to. I love this idea. The server can also be looked at as a painting, each player wielding a brush to add to the masterpiece. -What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I'm a dedicated member on a survival server (and I still am) but would like a taste of RP. This looks like a really fun server and I would love to try it out! The thought that goes into your each and every in-game move... That concept is amazing. It's almost like a big tactical map playing out a big story... That's what RP is, isn't it? -Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes, the rules are very reasonable and I have read and understood them. -Name the 4 races on this server: The Humans/The Orcs/The Elves/The Dwarves -How did you hear about us?: I heard about this server on Minestatus. I visited your guys' website and I thought the server looked really cool and the environment and the landscape looked spectacular, so I'm wanting to give it a try by posting this application. ;) Did You Vote: Yes, I did. Favorite Law: I love the law that you can't get out of character. That really enforces the RP aspect of the server. Least Favorite Law: I totally agreed with every law. ;) -What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: My forum account name is dacorn123 In-Character: -Character Name: Elena Scentoune -What is your Race?: Elena is a part of the elves. -Biography: Elena Scentoune (pronounced like scent+tone) was born in The Holy Princedom of Malinor to a warrior father and a farmer mother. She has long dark hair. Her eyes are a deep blue. She definitely inherited her mother's looks. Her father, Aeolos Scentoune is a brave warrior and is loyal to Malinor and the elves. Elena's mother, Sofia Scentoune was a farmer and frequently volunteered to tutor children and teach them how to read and write. Sofia developed a rare sickness as she grew to about forty-seven years old and passed away when Elena was eight. After Sofia passed away, Aeolos became very protective of Elena. When Elena was first born, Sofia quickly taught her how to read and write. Elena was a very intelligent child, often joining the older and more mature elves in their studies of agriculture, politics, tactics, architecture, and war. By the time Elena was seven years old, she had went way farther into her education than a normal elf child would, no matter how old they may be. She was definitely looked at as superior by the elves that didn't even educate themselves. Elena met twelve-year-old Marina at the age of nine. Marina was still continuing with her studies by the time Elena had finished. Marina was an orphan, but very smart with planning, tactics, and combat. When her parents abandoned Marina in Malinor before fleeing to Oren, nobody would accept her and take her into their home. She had to confront thieves and other nasty creatures lurking the natural streets of Malinor at night until Aeolos finally let her live with Elena. She taught Elena how to shoot a bow and arrow and fight. Marina and Elena would practice in the wilderness outside of Malinor on a practice range made of handmade dummies and wooden targets. Elena would steal old sacks of flour and lumber from Sofia's old barn to craft different things to shoot and slash with her bow and arrow and iron sword, both given to her by Marina. By the time Elena was twelve, Marina was fifteen. Marina had finished her studies and was tired of practicing combat. She decided that she would take up the role of a traveling merchant that would bargain and sell across the world of Aegis. She had perfect combat skills which would aid her when she traveled to Krugmar, home of the orcs. Marina was sad to leave Elena by herself with her protective father, but she truly believed that traveling and discovering the wonders of other nations really was her role. After Marina left Malinor, Elena never heard from her again. Now, Elena is fourteen. Aeolos will finally let her journey into the world of Aegis. Elena wants to explore and speculate, but her true ambition is to help Malinor and bring peace and harmony to the forests that surround it. Elena still wields the same bow and arrow that the traveling merchant, Marina, gave to her in her youth. She still is intelligent, swift, and tactical. She's using all she learned from her best friend Marina and changing it into her own reputation and personality so that one day, she will be known throughout not only Malinor but all of Aegis. -Character Age: Elena Scentoune is 14 years old. -Character Appearance: Elena is a tall girl with long, dark hair, almost like the deepest ground. Her eyes are a deep blue, but at the same time, are very bright, like a pool basking in the moonlight. She has very pale skin and sharp, long ears. Her cheekbones are very noticeable and her eyelashes are long and curled. -Character Personality: Elena is kind, intelligent, and ambitious. She hopes to be known all over Aegis sometime in the future and really find out the truth behind her ancestor, Malin. She loves to speculate, explore, and practice combat. She loves to farm and definitely has a green thumb. She can mine for hours or cut lumber for a fire for days... She inherited her father's strength. She is nice, kind, and warm and loves children as her mother, Sofia, did. -Your ambitions: Elena hopes to be known all over Aegis one day, therefor, she is very ambitious. She wants to gain good reputation and one day maybe rule her beloved homeland of Malinor. She also wants to travel and explore Aegis and help people along the way. She will fight off thieves and villains and safe the good and innocent. She wants to brave the land of Krugmar, home of the orcs, and hopes to find her long-lost friend and 'sister', Marina. -Can your character read or write?: Yes. Elena is very intelligent and skilled in both. She was taught at an early age by her mother, Sofia. She progressed through her education very fast and is very smart for her age. She loves to read books as it opens up her mind to new ideas. She loves to write in a journal, keeping her thoughts and ambitions in one place. -Can your character mine?: Yes, Elena definitely inherited her mother's looks, but she also inherited her father's strength and bravery. She could mine for hours to find the materials she needs. She is very persistent and will always pull through with any task. -Are you a capable builder?: Yes, Elena loves to build. When she was a child, she would listen and watch the older elves study architecture and would often join in, drawing building ideas in her diary. She has dreamed of building a large palace in the heart of Malinor for the council. -Can you wield a sword?: Yes. At an early age, Elena was taught many aspects of combat by her friend, Marina. She would practice slashing handmade dummies and wooden targets with her iron sword. Elena still has that sword, but told her father Aeolos to keep it and cherish it forever, as it is a memory of Marina. -Enjoy Farming?: Yes, Elena inherited her green thumb from her mother, Sofia. Sofia was a farmer of wheat and sugarcane. She would use all of her produce to often make cakes for the children she would tutor. Elena wants to farm and have a beautiful garden alongside her dream palace. She would bake little treats to give to the children of Malinor. -Does your character have any special skills?: Yes. Elena has many talents in all aspects of life. She is very intelligent and tactical in combat, she is superior with a sword or a bow and arrow, she loves to build and farm, she dreams big, and is very ambitious.
