  1. Selina sits in a simple, unadorned wicker chair, pale, out of place in the grand palace. A knife rests within her hands, slowly carving away at a small wooden figurine. A yong woman, dressed in robes of gold and white, with fire in her hands. She says nothing, for no words need be spoken by this mute, for her answer has already been provided. By Aeriel's grace, she will pick up her staff and, with once again grasped in her hands, fight.

  2. I also wish to mention a benefit to having the multi-verse world. Not only will this make mines more dangerous (You can buff enemies in them perhaps? Increase spawn rates? Regardless, it would make working in groups more enjoyable), but you can change what sort of materials generate. Perhaps there are lucrative 'diamond' mines that have higher rates of diamonds, a very good reason to fight and wage war over such a resource. This could also fix issues of material saturation in the economy, admins can tweak how much can be found in either location to increase or decrease the ammount of iron/coal/emerald, etc that is found.

  3. There is one way that mining could be dealt with, though I am unsure if it has been advised before. Perhaps have 'mineshafts' located around the world, each of which is a teleporter to another minecraft world, which can be pregenerated to have more or less ores of certain types. This would encourage trade agreements and wars, by giving players reasons to fight over said mines. Perhaps entrance to these mines could be regulated based upon allegience and race?

  4. Brent, a lot of people prefer to not role. And no, this has nothing to do with the fact that we ‘try to powergame out of every situation’. It instead stems from the fact that some of us have an understanding of how certain weapons are used in combat. If my character is highly trained with a quarterstaff and is fighting someone with a sword, chances are she’s gonna win. I’m not going to throw it up in the air based upon how lucky my rolls are. Combat is based upon technique, training, strength, and finesse. It usually has nothing to do with luck. You instead should force your opponent into a position they cannot get out of without powergaming.
