One day when she was 5 she was running errands with her mother, they were beset upon by a a group of marauding Orcs. she and her mother never stood a chance, however before the orcs could carry her and her mother a ranger stepped out of the shadows and launched a one man assault on the party. He was able to save her mother, but the rest of the orcs carried Viola off. Right before she was pulled away, her eyes met that of the woodsman. she would never forget them for the rest of her life. The orcs took her back to their camp and locked her up. she spent the next 10 years in slave labor. The orcs forced her to do anything they wanted. she worked in their mines, sharpening their swords and axes. Slowly she began to formulate an escape plan. she slowly collected small pieces of iron from the tips of axes or ores in the mines. Using the tools she had collected and made she discovered how to pick the lock, and waited for the perfect time to escape. she would not wait long. about a week later, the undead overran the camp and began slaughtering the orcs left and right. in confusion she slid away into the night. She returned to Al'kazar, but just after it had fallen to the undead. within a week she was on the boat to Asulon. She worked in a tavern for a few months, working as a barmaid serving drinks and food, until a an old hooded man walked into her bar. She recognized his blue eyes in an instant though his hair grey with strips of black. It was the same ranger who had tried to save her all those years ago. He stared at her, then apologized. The only reason he survived was because, while his family was being slaughtered by the raiding party, he was inside and saw the whole thing. he took his father iron sword and charged at the shaman. however he was slow and unskilled, the shaman simply caught his blade in midair and threw him to the ground, shattering the sword beneath him. however he took one of the shards and hurled it at the shamans head, slicing through his cheek. the enraged Shasurc grabbed his throat and sliced out his right eye, then cast him to the dirt. "let that be a lesson to you boy." snarled the shaman. but for some reason he left him alive. so it was that the wounded Aldo was forced into the woods alone. He went on a quest for revenge that has left him bitter and cold to the world. he still keeps the handle of the blade as a talisman, and intends to use it to slay that green skinned beast. all that matters to him is vengeance, and he will do all he can to get it. My parents could barely provide food, so I got a job chopping down trees to help put food on the table. I loved my chopping axe and even began to practice fighting with it. By 13, I had saved enough to get us a better, more stable home, or so I thought. It turns out the area I bought was sacred to the Elves and they did not take kindly to us living there. They asks us to leave and, when we stubbornly refused, they slew my father on the spot. Then they burned our home to the ground. 5 years later my mother died and I went to go live with my uncle. He was furious about what those elves had done to his Brother. And I was Happy to help him get revenge. With his sword and my axe, we tracked down and slew the elves while they made their camp. A few of them got away. Since then I tracked down and murdered many of those nature loving scumbags, but I still have not found the few that escaped me.
