With his father working at the mines day and night to earn enough money for the family and his mother gravely ill Vonar was soon the man of the house. Vonar would try to farm, but he was never very good at it. As soon as Vonar was old enough his father gave him his first sword. It was a very beautiful sword with a wooden hilt and a bightly polished and razor sharp golden blade. Vonar would wake up as early as he could in the morning and practice with his sword until his mother told him to do his chores. Vonar soon became very proficient with the sword and would pretend he was a great dwarf warrior fighting the evil orcs. One day Vonar recieved a message that his father was killed in horrible minning accident where he was buired alive in gravel. Vonar was devestaded at his fathers death and cried until he couldn't cry any more, he got up and shook all the sadness and anger off to take care of his mother. During that time many people would come by to check on him and his mother and they would always tell him it was ok and everything would be ok, but he never really beilieved them. One day when Vonar was out getting supplies for him and his mother he decied to head to orc capital because he heard of a seller that was selling goods for a low price. After he got all of the stuff his mother asked him to get he began the long walk home. Soon Vonar began to hear a cry for help and followed the sound to an edge of a forest where he saw a group of dwarves surrounding a young helpless orc. Since Vonar is a dwarf he was always taught dislike orcs, but Vonar on that day must of felt something different, because he went over to the dwarve and told them to leave the orc alone. But the dwarves told him to mind his owm buisness and pushed Vonar over. Vonar got up and started to fight the dwarves, but since Vonar had trained with a sword for most of his life he had built up great muscles and the other dwarves were no match for him. After Vonar scared the dwarves of he asked the orc what his name was. The orc said Kragnuk very quietly and started to back away. Vonar told Kragnuk his name and began to walk home. As Vonar approached his house he saw the door busted down and he began to run. As he reached his house he saw everything was destroyed he rushed into his mothers room hoping everything was okay. As he entered he saw mother laying facedown on the floor, he knelt down and began to cry expecting the worst. He began to hear a voice and his mother started to say something. She said that she was beaten down on an orc raid when she tried to protect the family money. But soon her pulse stoped and it was all over. Vonar dug a makshift grave and had a short funeral. Vonar grabbed all of the usable items in his house including 50 minos, 3 loaves of bread, and his golden sword and then headed off. After many years of Vonar living of killing monsters for money and collecting seeds for growing, Vonar started heading toward the orc capital to sell some of his porkchops and buy some other goods from the seller that was selling cheap. After he got his goods he starded the long trek to the edge of Oren where he had a makeshift home, but before he could leave the gates of the orc capital 3 orcs burst out from behind him and pushed him to the ground. Vonar tried to get up, but he was alredy weak from the the long trek from Oren. The orcs started curssing and kicking at Vonar. Suddenly they stopped and ran away, Vonar who was surprised started to get up to see his savior. Vonar looked up and to his surprise it was another orc he started to say don't hurt me, but the orc cut him off. The orc said he was Kragnuk the orc that Vonar saved. Kragnuk helped Vonar up and took him to the edge of the forest telling him that it was safe. Kragnuk then told Vonar how he was an outcast as soon as he told his parents that dwarf saved him. And everyone thought he was crazy, and that was how he scared away the other orcs. Kragnuk also told him how his mother beilived him and his father became furious and killed his mother. So Kragnuk wanted to get revenge on his father who was the king. Vonaar wanted to get revenge too on the orc who killed his mother, which Kragnuk said waas also nhis father. Kragnuk and Vonar thought a lot about how to get revenge, but they both decided they didn't want to hurt or kill anyone. One day Kragnuk said why don't we complete the ancient orc maze to humiliate the orc nation. He soon became very skilled at minning, but he also became very greedy and would barely ever go home to help his mother.One day on an orc raid Vonar's mother tried to protect the family's money, but was beaten down.
