  1. ( 2 Things to note: Lotc is not "middle ages". There where no Orcs/elves/dwarves in the middle ages, and saying that in these times 13 was when you got married can be incorrect seeing as how lotc does not base EVERYTHING off the medieval times. Also, this is an RP section of the forums. Please respond accordingly. I will start to hand out warnings if I see any more excessive ooc talk

    ~Thanks )

  2. Throdo, you stated that, "It is a little fishy that this got accepted in less than a week. Rather than the months other charters have. That is my main concern."

What you fail to consider is the fact that while you may have seen the charter a week ago, it has existed much longer than that. Had this entire process included you or been carried out on the forum for all to see daily, you would realize how much time and effort this nation has required. You do not know the entire story here, and I do not feel the need to fill you in on it.

However, if you are that concerned about wrong doing by me, Enor or anyone who had a hand in this, then you absolutely must speak to a GM about it. I suggest Native or Resp, since they have done the most to help us along the way. Of course, if you fear GM corruption in this matter, then I would avoid asking the GMs who helped us and accepted this charter. Perhaps you would feel better served by Danie or Shoi. The point is that you do have options to combat any form of wrong doing by any member of LotC. It concerns me that you chose not to use these options but instead, continue posting your outlandish views on this thread.

    You also stated,

“The quote you posted proves only how he mocked our nation that he once had. I try my hardest into developing it into better means. That progress has halted because of 2.0. The post Enor has made really ticked me off”

As a couple of people have pointed out before, what Enor said was not an insult. It is an opinion based on what he and many others have seen in game and even on your own Renatus sub forum. It is an easy assumption to make, even if you have never been to Galahar, and there are plenty of testimonials backing up that assumption.

I have never spent time in Galahar personally, but I feel it is a safe to agree with Enor’s view. You are experiencing a great deal of unrest. From your own forums I see that you have horrible issues with some guards who are acting in cruel ways, Knights who cannot agree with military superiors over who has the real authority, and some squires who appear to think they run the kingdom. And that is just the unrest from the military standpoint. I also see where people in high positions are being targeted by traitors and others who have been trialed and suspended. I won’t bother listing all the issues revealed by the forum, anyone can read for themselves and draw their own conclusions, but I hope you see now how saying that Renatus is suffering from unrest is a valid view, and not an insult.

    Another quote by you Throdo,

“I can tell you things have improved after Enor's rule.”

This makes no sense to me personally. Enor ruled over Oren and although he had to deal with you and your group’s traitorous ways, he did the best job he could. If he had actually had the help of the people who had sworn allegiance to him, then Oren would have been much stronger than it was. Instead of helping and supporting him though, you and your group chose to undermine him every chance you could, twisting and turning situations to fit your own greedy needs and often, just lying outright. I believe I read where you or one of your group called it propaganda…. Either way, you got what you wanted…somewhat.

Enor knew he would not be able to hold Oren together much longer. It was just impossible since most of his aids, advisors and leaders of the military had chosen greed over their nation. He had no army to fight, because due to the action of you and others, he was being forced to fight his own army. (For those of you reading this that served Enor and Oren, who did not take part it these despicable events, please know that none of this is directed at you.)

Oren needed to remain intact however. For the safety of its citizens and any future peace that could be found for us, Oren needed to survive as a whole nation. It was a painful choice for Enor, but with the well-being of Oren in mind, he passed the crown to Gaius. He and I both felt that with Gaius’ strong military order, the traitors could be rooted out and Oren would survive. Neither of us had any idea that the rebellion would continue, even after Enor was no longer King.

Your entire argument had been that Enor was unfit to rule, but when given another King, you had to create a new argument. I do not remember now what the rebel group’s excuse was when Gaius was crowned, nor do I think it really matters to anyone. What it boils down to is what you and your group wanted, and the hell with Oren and any citizen who stood in the way. I think Gaius did all he could with what little time he had to work with, but the end result was two new kingdoms and the total destruction of Oren.

You may say that your and your group’s rule over Renatus is better than that of Enor’s rule over Oren, but it is not true to say that you rule Oren better, since it no longer exists. You and none of your group will ever be able to legitimately say you are the King of Oren. The last king of Oren will always be the man you betrayed.

    And finally…

”I don't want to worry you about this, just be glad you have made a whole new nation for Aegis! I have read yer lore and it is very nice.Enor I hope you learned from the rebellion and do your best. Dawn, I believe you can rule fairly. Goodluck.”

I take this as a thinly veiled threat and yet one more poke at Enor from someone who built a career from stabbing him and his nation in the back. I think we all have learned great a deal from the rebellion, but the point we carry with us is that some people would give anything for power and position, even if it means total destruction of what they claim to fight for.

I miss Oren and I miss what the human kingdom used to be. I and many other citizens hate what has happened to our home, but I am also grateful in some small way. Without your actions, Salvus would never have been born. We will fill the void and give voice to those who grow weary of being victimized by greed and deception and together, we will continue growing strong. You tell me not to worry… I’m not worried at all Throdo…

My final thought on this matter, you have shown great concern over the accepted nation charter of Salvus. May I also point out that Hanseti too, has an accepted charter…Where is the accepted charter for Renatus? Please do not bother saying that you do not need one, as most would agree that Renatus is not Oren. I mean, there is a reason people say “Old Oren” when referring to where they come from. Their nation of birth is destroyed. Your nation is a new one, same as mine and Hanseti, yet, you have no charter. Seems a bit fishy, doesn’t it?

^^Pretty much sums everything up, well said Dawn.

  3. Enor I have nothing against the kingdom itself, our kingdom is strong, and you only hold grudges when you lost a fine nation. I never said anything bad against dawn or you. I think dawn is a great player.

@Edward I can assure you I am not trolling on this matter, I wasn't manly talking about Burgen. I was talking about all the town charters that have te correct amount of people that signed it.

How am I holding a grudge? Also, saying that we are only getting this nation because of Dawns fame is a bit rude. Also, it is not necessary to have the people comment on the post.

  4. I do not find it fair that this got accepted in days time. Other charters started a month ago and the people who signed the charter actually posted on the forum. I don't knw of it's just fame of dawn, which she is a great player, or what.

Please get this into your mind.

Myself and Dawn will be co-ruling Salvus. We have worked hard on our lore, our ideas, and our intentions to help the players. We are here to offer safety and peace for those who wish to escape the civil unrest that your kingdom has. Perhaps you see it unfare that we get to run a nation even though we have worked hard on this, however that does not mean that you need to take jabs at Dawn or myself. It is not necessary for those who are going to be in our nation to post a comment on this topic.

    ~Enor

  5. MC Name:

    DigginTilDawn & WildeBoy98

    RP Name:

Lady Dawn Perea & Lord Enor Sheffield

    Town Name:

    The Isle of Salvus

Why are you/your character starting this town? What role will it play?:

The destruction of Winterfell and Al khazar has left Enor, my infant daughter, and many survivors without homes. Now that Oren has been ripped in two by rebels, we find that we have very few options left to those of us wishing for a simpler, peaceful way of life.

We have banded together on the island of my childhood, seeking a safe harbor. The island, which until now has been called “Dawn’s Island” has recently been renamed to “The Isle of Salvus. It no longer exists for just me, but for all of our inhabitants. Here is where we make our peaceful stand, refusing to join the rebels who fought for power while our homes were being destroyed, and knowing that we would not be at home with Hanseti.

What type of political system is enforced in this town? Is this town under the reign of any other nation at this time?:

The town is governed by Lady Dawn Perea and Lord Enor Sheffield. Together we oversee the daily operations of the town. Our most trusted residents step in to help when we can not be there. It could be considered a Monarchy, however a peoples government would describe it better. While there are two sole rulers, we base much of our decisions on the thoughts of our residents. We aim to please, keep them safe, and supply them with enough bread to keep them nourished.

What sort of behavior will residents exhibit? (Race relations, nation relations, etc.):

Our citizens represent every race and every walk of life. We live together peacefully, working and sharing all as a community. We do not discriminate against any race or individual, however if one wishs to impede on our rigts to a peaceful existacne, our borders are closed to them. They will be removed by any means necessary if we see that they wish to cause mayhem or harm to the residents of Salvus

Where would you prefer the town’s region be, and how large? Including a screenshot of the land would be nice (of game or map):

The Island of Salvus is located west of Al’ Khazar near the settlement of Talamh.

Any other details (architecture, races, culture, etc):

The Building style implemeted on the island looks similar to a medieval farm town. There is stone, but it is primarly built from planks and logs. The builds are more linear than horrizontal, however it does offer enough rroom for everyday tasks. 2011-12-21_172603.png

  6. Enor's Journal

With the brewing of this rebellion, much is unclear to me of our future as a Nation . The Phoenix Brothers or what ever they call themselves, are foolish for what they have started. In a time like this, when the undead are at their strongest, I would have thought they would realize the unstable time we are in. But, it seems they have such a hunger for power, that they would rather tear our nation apart then to try and make Oren stronger.

The Rebels have become more vocal, they now are openly opposing myself, and those who support me. I have grown tired of the confusion and uncertainty that they cause. I must find a way to stop them, no matter the cost. If they acquire their demands, Oren will fall and the undead will have free reign in all of the north.

New Alstion and Winterfell have fallen. My Guards, led by some of the traitors, never tried to help defend. I have attempted to persuade them that this is folly, they should support their King and Nation they once pledged themselves and attempt to draw our nation closer together. But, alas they refuse and continue their scheming for power. Power... that alone is what fuels their flame. Not honor, dignity, and respect for their country. Something must be done soon about them.

After months of searching, I have found our only hope. He is a strong military leader, capable of great things. I believe with the aid of his already established military that he shall be the one to squash the rebellion and bring Oren closer together. I have no doubt that the rebels will continue to fight against him, regardless of the effect it will have on the rest of Aegis. Their greed knows no end.

Today is the day I approach Gaius. He is the one I have chosen to take my place on the throne. I hope he can accomplish the task at hand of eliminating the rebellion that threatens to rip our Nation apart. If he succeeds, it will hopefully bring not only our nation, but all of Aegis closer together. Today, with a heavy heart I hand my crown and the hopes of our Nation to Gaius.

Gaius now has taken the crown. He has pledged to do myself and his country well. I pray he stays true to his word. For if he does not, we will lose all hope. Today, is the day of importance. Today, is the day we see, if the human nation will remain. Today, is the day, that all men will remember.

Despite Gaius’s Best Efforts, the men known as the Phoenix Brothers have gotten their wish. They have claimed half of Oren for themselves. Gaius has the eastern half, and they control the west. Today, is a day of sadness for myself. I would have liked to see Gaius prevail against these men, but it seems to him that he believed letting them have what they wanted was the only way. I do not like his decision, but I would rather side with him then those power hungry war-mongers.

Lady Dawn and I have been friends for quite some time. Both of us have held the crown, and both of us have lived to see Oren fall and rebuild. With her new born child, neither the west nor east is a safe place for her. I wish for a safe and secure place away from the destruction and chaos for any who seek it.

  7. (( Are we just forgetting about rp? If you are an elf, I would assume a bow and swords combo. Where the bow would be higher level than the swords.

This is how I would do my skills:

    Orc:

    Axes lvl 100

    Woodcutting/Blacksmithing ( Blacksmithing is a bit more rp IMO ) lvl 100

    Wrestling lvl 75

    Human:

    Swords lvl 100

    Blacksmithing lvl 100

    Wrestling lvl 75

    Elves:

    Bow lvl 100

    Swords lvl 75

    Blacksmithing lvl 75

Woodcutting ( To chop your logs for your bow and arrows ) lvl 25

    Dwarf:

    Axes lvl 100

    Blacksmithing lvl 100

Mining lvl 75 ( To Mine your ores )

These are just the combos I would go with If I where one of these. ))

  8. ((We didn't tear your post down, enor deleted it and told you to just make a separate post))

Please don't judge our entire nation off of 2 men.

( I took it down upon Death's asking. To him, it could possibly be that they didnt want it up for propoganda reasons, etc, etc. )

  9. ((clueless? Nay, I have seen your conversation with tarus on TS and I must say... Bravo, I am not using bad language here Enor. It is un nessasary))

( TS isnt the only souce of information. So yes, I still believe you are unaware of all that i know and act upon. I would like to request that you stop claiming im metagaming because frankly its getting old. )

  10. ((If I recall, you got Tarl Cabot banned because he was messing around with you on TeamSpeak. And then yelled at me for telling you how to pronounce my name. I WANT to like you Enor, but you're making it pretty hard to do so.))

Edit: ((I'm done with my flame war, sorry about that))

I NEVER yelled at you. I simply said I dont know how to pronounce your name, and at this point i dont care. I never ever yelled at you. And yes, Tarl Cabot was banned, for good reason.

  11. [[Enor, if we hate you IC doesn't mean we hate you IRL. Sure you're a bit rude sometimes, but seriously, I dont think of you as a bad guy. You're always the one to start drama and cause drama out of game.]]

( I find it hard to believe I am the one always starting drama. If i recall, correctly then just in this post Throdo as well as EzeTarus have both started stuff. Heck, this debate would not even be going on if Throdo didnt make his stupid post of me meta'ing.
