  1. Rune Magic lore is actually still pending. It's being finalized and finished. It was Accepted but never really implemented properly. There are minor adjustments before it can be full used. As for mechanical/magic metal eyes still tend to fall under the same category. Steampunk/Techy genre and LoTC still falls under Fantasy.

This will be discussed over the lore team before being fully approved.

But till then there are many suggestive ideas that have been used for blindness that would not need lore.

Sight by sound - If you have not heard of the sightless superhero, Daredevil. I suggest either reading up on him or watching the movie. A great idea to blindness, that specific; generally louder, sound waves create a temporary vision to help give you that small sight range. Rain develops a chance to actually see in a way. Colors not included.

Sensitive Sight - If someones heart pumps at a point the is loud, mostly out of high nerves, or being frightened. You get a small sound factor that gives you the idea range of a person. Usually this would work with elves sensitive hearing being enhanced by blindness.

Just plain blind - Going with the classic blind fold and wondering the world with touch. Many blind people in the pass walk about with sticks and poke the ground sometimes learning paths by memorization. Spinizir was a good example of this.

Alternative for the Metal eye thing - Could be a flunk if the metal wasn't inscribed properly and hide them useless thing with a blindfold and using one of above traits.

Just a few ideas passed on that player have used in the past.

  2. This lore has been somewhat agree'd upon with some changes that would like to be seen such as:

    Changes in senses:

-Eyesight: Have very good vision as stated, but suffered from blind spots since it's eyes are located on the sides of it's head. So large blind spot behind the bird still allows for easy sneaking up on. Directly above, and directly in front, give a bird a disadvantage. It would have to cock and tilt it's head about like most birds to see. Cannot see well at night.

-Hearing: Front living in a jungle it's vision would be absurd by but dense forest, and plant life. Hearing would be necessary for it's survival. Specially when trying to ambush small pray.

    -Sense of Smell: None

-Taste: Poor, their tongue lacks taste buds, but the roof of their mouth carries a few receptors.

    Update Regional:

-Resides in Jungle only, will not leave by choice.

-If removed it'll have to be bound and dragged, often acting depressed away from it's home.

-May have excellent sight, but bright lighting hurts their sensitive eyes.

-Does no look up, since it considers itself a top predator. Kha could easily drop in from above then.

  6. Alignment

Lawful Good - Ex. Clerics, Paladins, Nobility And Heroes. They follow a strict code of what they do, following a deity, or extreme moral code. Always following the rues, they never stray from their duties. Duties will even be far more important then their own families if it comes to the the chance of breaking their code. Always follows their rules and code, with honor and being self-disciplined.

Chaotic Good - Ex. Kings, Guards, Rebels, Faithful, Nobility, and some Commoners. They are always out to try to do the good thing, good rebels tend to be leaders of revolutions. They may not always be right but it's what they feel is right a.k.a. the 'Greater Good.' Usually always follows the rules.

Neutral Good - Ex. Commoners, renegade Heroes. They are usually the followers in the world. They tend to follow those whom are Lawful or Chaotic Good. But sometimes they are of a higher calling and believe breaking/bending the rules for a just because is the good thing to do unlike Lawful Good or Chaotic.

Lawful Neutral - Ex. Rulers, Guards, and Commoners. They always follow the law, it may not always be good, nor evil. If it is law to cut off a thieves hand, it is done without emotional regards. All rules are to be enforced by this group. They do not really fit with Good nor Evil.

Neutral - Ex. Farmers, Animals, and the Undecided. Tend to react off of keeping themselves alive, fight or flee. They tend to fleet between the morals to their own survival or the survival of others. Such as a human fighting an orc, only to turn and protect them from a ravenous pack of wolves.

Chaotic Neutral - Ex. Revolutionists, Renegade Heroes, Commoners. Their out to follow their own hearts, they sometimes feels rules don't always abide by them. Often they are found enforcing rules rather then allowing guards to. Citizens arrest for example. They accidentally seem to cause havoc when their out to do what they feel is their own moral righteousness.

Neutral Evil - Ex. The Greedy, Commoners, Nobles, and Rulers. Normally the greedy and selfish. They have no problem killing or lashing out at another person, but they tend not to go out of their way to do so. Following the rules only when it's convenient for them, but breaking them sometimes if half the fun. Do not always enjoy others extreme suffering.

Chaotic evil - Ex. Same as above along with Villains. Being are usually the followers of Lawful evils, or just out fully for themselves. Only following rules out of fear of something stronger. They do not always commit to violent, or gruesome attacks, nor being sadistic just because. They will kill without a moral feeling about it though. Often seeing honor and the self-disciplined as a joke.

Lawful Evil - Ex. Antagonists, and their followers along with some villains. They like the Lawful good, follow a code, but exploits are always there. They will do what is best for themselves to gain what they desire. Even if it comes to cutting out their partners, but they always follow what is law in their natures. Their often conflicted with Law vs Self, but usually always follows the Law they are given. They kill without feeling any influence. Often finding amusement in others suffering.

  7. Erster Rutz-Khranstig

    Dwarf

    <image>

Erster Rutz-Khranstig is the son of Galdan & Yuana Rutz-Khranstig. One look at his fiery beard will expose his mountain dwarf blood. During his beardling years, him and his kin lived in the Grandaxe Hold, Kal'Anart. They were sheltered in one of the many clan halls supplied to the lower clans. Unlike the other beardlings, Erster wasn't trained in the arts of combat or lumberjacking, or anything or the sort. His father, Galdan, taught him and the rest of the clan beardlings the way of the dirty thief, ways such as pick-pocketing to pick-locking chests.

  8. Enor Sheffield

    Human

Enor Sheffield was born to Edmund Sheffield and Ivrae Sheffield when they ruled over Oren as King and Queen in Aegis. He took over the throne after his father turned to the Undead. King Enor proved to have a polarizing rule with significant support and opposition. During the Undead attack on Al'Khazar he was kidnapped and taken to the Nether. He stepped down from the throne shortly afterwards and gave the crown to Gaius Marius in response to rising opposition. He then joined Dawn Perea to found Salvus. He ruled over the nation until his disappearance in Asulon.

  9. Dawn Perea

    Human

Lady Dawn Perea was a baker, political leader in Oren and Queen of Salvus.

    History

Dawn was married to Pampo Perea during his reign as King of Oren. She was considered quite popular with the people. She owned Dawn's Bakery, a popular bakery in Al'Khazar that grew so popular it was able to expand to other locations in Whisper Isles, Laurelin and Winterfell. Following the death of King Perea at the hands of Undead Dawn was no longer Queen when Edmund Sheffield took the throne. She remained in charge of Winterfell until it fell to Undead in 1340.

Following the events of the Phoenix Revolution Dawn and the former King of Oren Enor Sheffield established the Kingdom of Salvus, designed to be a peaceful nation among the infighting of the Humans. Many Humans joined the new nation. Upon the move to Asulon Queen Dawn remained in power in Salvus for many years, ruling from the capital of Solace.

Queen Dawn grew more controversial as time went on. She was increasingly seen negatively by other nations, and war was declared on Salvus by Hanseti, Renatus, Alras, The War Uzg, Seventis and the Twilight Army. Queen Dawn was killed in the early stages of the war, prompting infighting among the coalition.

    Family

Dawn was married to Pampo Perea until his death. They had two sons and a daughter, Rhonin Perea, Brett Perea and Ella Perea.

  10. Dante Flormai

    Elf Pages

Dante can somewhat be described as a notable figure in Asulon for his long work with the people, and places of the land. He is most famously known for serving as a Prince of Malinor and a Master within the Mages Guild. He is also infamously noted at times for his large family outing known as the Flormai.

    II. The Lost One

    III. The Elf

    IV. The Druid

    V. The Mage

    VI. The Lover

    VII. The Mali'aheral

    X. The Prince

    I. The Child

The night air hung over the two Mali'aheral very closely, tugging at their tattered robes. Dante adopted a small sad smile staring down at the mangled up child, who silently yawned as the night sky tired him. The child's blonde hair drooped over his dark green eyes, which slowly blinked close. The remaining couple shared a look, pulling each other closer.

"We can't do this Dante..." the thin girl muttered.

"I know love, I know..." he replied.

He adopted a weary expression as he stood, the baby boy still wrapped in his arms.

"The question is though, what are we going to do?" the girl replied, standing up after him. Dante only shook his head, letting out a sigh.

"I wish I knew the half of it love. We can barely accommodate for the other child, let alone this one." he said with yet another pained sigh.

She put her gentle hand on his shoulder, slowly wrapping him towards herself in a hug. They shakily made their way back into the damaged home, shivering from the dark cold.

    To be continued.

  11. Damien Dracaena

    Human

    Childhood

Damien Dracaena had been born in a quaint village in Aegis; He was quite intuitive at best, you could say. His motives and goals were different then most of the citizens who resided in his village. His parents, whose names are to this day undisclosed, treated him with the utmost cruelty. Their methods of torture were unparalleled to the ordinary methods. He believed they were mentally insane, and wished for their torture to stop. In order to save himself, he had to acquire everyday food and meats and his hygiene intact. He would ensure that he possessed an adequate amount of food in a small crypt below his home. In order to get his spoils, he performed mischievous acts of thievery and deception. Every night he would venture out near the general store and break into its' coffers, removing the necessary resources for survival. He then would gently slide the lock back in place, cloaking his presence in the area. Upon obtaining these resources, he would flee back to his crypt and store them for further use at a later time. While Damien's actions and methods of thinking were slightly derogatory, he was still a well-maintained and kind youth. He would visit the village guards and spar often, sharpening his skills with a sword. He also would practice against the targets set in place for the guards to utilize. This training allowed him to fend for himself, and also get an advantage over his foes. Eventually, after quite a long period of time, his parents grew old and withered away. When they passed, Damien showed no sign of remorse. He simply flickered an eyelid and went to live in another home. One night, however, something drastically had changed. He was venturing in the forest when a cloaked man, brandishing a small object in his hand, mugged Damien. Startled and not knowing what to do, Damien simply let it happen. However, the man was not seeking to injure Damien. He disclosed that he had secretly witnessed the brutal torture that Damien had endured, and was going to help. In the next chapter of his life, Damien did so in quite a vast fashion.

    Adolescence

This cloaked man turned out to be a mentor and an essential figure in Damien's life. He educated Damien in the ways of combat, reading, and other literary and educational subjects. This was essential to Damien's Growth, it allowed him to attain a significant advantage over other youth at his age, and it also furthered his knowledge with the world of Aegis, and later, Asulon. During his Adolescence, Damien attended a structure in which promoted and distributed education to its' students, or in other words, a "School". He believed it wasn't that useful, so he ended up not enrolling the following year and simply obtaining education from his most gracious mentor. Damien's Adolescence was quite depressing for him, as one of his most influential people in his life, his mentor, or how he called him: "Father", had perished of old age. This struck Damien quite immensely. Following the fall of Aegis to the Undead, Damien inscribed a resting place for his first true father by burying his corpse and laying a flower upon it. Having known the Undead would consume Aegis, Damien embarked upon a voyage to Asulon with a particular individual who had interest in Damien, Symodimi Dracaena. Symodimi further developed his relations with Damien and later would offer him a place in his Family, which Damien most graciously accepted. They went to Asulon together on the Salvus Flagship.

Adulthood - A New Journey to Asulon

After arriving in Asulon, Damien and Symodimi had set off to purchase a quaint townhouse in Solace. They also possessed other family members, Dimatrik, Elandorr, and Bitazity. The Dracaenas were also interested in hunting, and pursued animals to obtain specific meats and other various resources for coin. They conversed with Salvus Nobility often, acquiring knowledge of what was occurring in Asulon.

  12. Dain Farhammer

Long ago, when Aegis was still young, there was a Dwarf named Karn Farhammer. Karn was a simple Dwarf. He worked in the deep mines of Aegis, trying to make his fortune in diamonds and other gems. Everyday he would delve deeper and deeper into the earth, searching for these elusive items. But, this was a boring life, so one day Karn decided he was through with this trivial digging. And so, Karn gathered up all his belongings, his rusty old pick, the clothes on his back, and his high-fathers sword and set out to have the adventure of a lifetime. Karn’s journey was a long one. He spent years exploring the wilderness and wilds of Aegis. Whilst on his journey, Karn established himself amongst the Dwarf community as an exceptional spelunker. No cave was too dark or too deep for Karn to venture into. But, one day he had had enough adventuring and decided to settle down. So, he settled in the newly founded city of Kal’Urguan. Karn got married and spent the rest of his life in the comfort of his new home.

Many years later, when Karn was very old, he had a grandson. His son Dorin’s wife had given birth to a beautiful young Dwarf, Dain. As soon as Karn laid his eyes on Dain, he knew that this young Dwarf would grow up to be something special. Dain had that same glint of adventure in his eye as Karn did.

Dain grew up in the bustling Dwarf metropolis of Kal’Urguan. When he wasn’t learning the ins and outs of spelunking from his grandfather, Dain spent his times in the abandoned mines scattered about the city. Dain would spend endless days in the mines, searching for any gems or jewels that the long gone miners may have forgotten. Dain’s life was perfect. But then, it came time for Dain to leave his home city and venture forth into the world to prove himself a true Dwarf! Karn instructed Dain to head north and to continue traveling north until the snow was falling so quick that you couldn’t see even a foot in front of your face. And so, with his pick in one hand, a mug of ale in the other, and his high-father’s sword on his back, Dain set out to prove himself.

In the Farhammer clan there is a tradition unlike any other in all of Aegis. At the age of 50, every Farhammer must prove themselves. To prove oneself means you must go for 1 year to a place where no Farhammer has gone before and settle the area. For Dain this place is far in the north, a quite inhospitable place. Also, upon your return to the clan, you must bring an artifact of your time of proving showing that you have proven yourself a be a true Farhammer.

Dain spent many days traveling northward. He saw many great sites including the mighty capital of Oren and the vast deserts of the war nation of Krugmar. But eventually, after many days of travel, Dain had decided that he had found a suitable place to prove himself at. The location he chose was a small cave in the side of a mountain. It was extremely cold and Dain was thankful to have his goblin skin boots on to keep him warm. The snow seemed to never stop falling and all the ground was covered in a thick blanket of snow.

For the next couple of weeks, Dain spent his time fortifying his new cave home. He dug farther into the mountain, carving out a bedroom and a mining shaft for him to work from. He also created a small wall around the entrance to his cave to help keep any ‘undesirables’ out. For many days, life was boring for Dain. Endlessly digging, hoping to break into a cavern did not suit Dain. But then, after months of digging, Dain finally found what he was looking for. Through a small slit in the rocks in his mining shaft, Dain could hear running water. This meant that there was a cavern right on the other side of the rock. So, Dain, with his sword in his left hand and a torch in his right broke through the flimsy rock separating him from the cavern. A rush of cavern air hit Dain at full force almost knocking him off his feet. Dain took his first slow steps into the cavern. Almost immediately, Dain felt something wasn’t right. He heard the scuffling of someone or something’s feet on the cavern floor. Dain raised his torch and his eyes filled with horror. 10 cave goblins were slinking toward Dain. Dain dropped his torch and raised his blade. As the goblins advanced, Dain made a silent prayer to his ancestors to allow him to survive this battle. The goblins were now in a dead sprint towards Dain. The first goblin to reach Dain was hewn in two by his blade. Two more goblins tried to leap onto him, but Dain rolled out of harms way. When he got up, Dain saw that he was surrounded. 9 goblins encircled him. The goblins then began trying to attack him one by one, with each attack being forced back by Dain. Eventually it was down to only 5 goblins and Dain. Dain then charged the remaining goblins, and to his surprise they sprinted away from him. Dain, thinking he was the victor, then slid his blade back into its scabbard and picked up his torch. The smell of death lay heavy in the air and Dain wanted to leave the cavern. But then he heard a noise that made the hair of his beard stand up straight. A loud roar filled the cavern. Dain turned around to see the 5 goblins coming back toward him, but this time, they had a troll.
