Roleplaying is to act as a specific character within a game. The character is completely separate from one's regular person, and does not know out of character information.

Dungeons and Dragons, MUDs.

Metagaming is using out of character information within an in-character environment.

Powergaming is to create unrealistic circumstances while roleplaying that cannot be countered, usually removing control from other players, resulting in outcomes or actions being forced upon the player.
What do you expect this server will be like?:
I expect it to be a stimulating and enjoyable environment, with serious roleplaying that improves the atmosphere and game play.
What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:
I have been on various small pvp servers that became inactive after a few months. Many of them became overrun with hackers.
I was banned from the other one server, which was quite new. I made a mistake using worldedit, creating a rather large mess which could not be easily repaired. The server was to be an RP server, with various combat classes. Unfortunately, it died in its infancy.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):
Guk is a male goblin around 43 years old, with a blank complexion, and a short temper. He looks very plain, but considers himself much uglier that he actually is. He considers those who do not understand the workings of redstone stupid, and treats them as such. However, he rarely fights, and never steals, as it seems more trouble than it is worth. When speaking, Guk is always straight-forward and concise, yet he may explode in a fit of rage. He loves his work, and rarely stops except to drink or watch an arena fight.
Guk became addicted to redstone at an early age. When he was six, while munching on a pile of it, he sneezed, blowing some next to a nearby fire, causing it to light up. He was intrigued by this new discovery, and played with it until he had consumed it all. On the boat to Asulon, he experimented with redstone further, finding out many ways to manipulate it. By the time he was sixteen, he had learned enough to make a profession out of it.
When Guk was born, his skin was a very bright green. However, he developed a reaction to redstone at the age of eight, which caused his skin to fade slightly whenever he ingested some. By age eleven, his skin had turned grey. He continues to have a slight reaction to redstone, but it is not nearly as severe as it was before.
Guk still eats redstone, if not so much as he did several years ago. Although his addiction to redstone is not so much, he has developed a rather large taste for alcohol. He frequently goes on large drinking binges, selling his few possessions to buy as much as he can, and then consuming all of it within a day.
What is your Character's ambitions?:
Knowing all there is to know about redstone, drinking, eating food and redstone.
What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):
Axe, as it can be used in both fighting and deforestation.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?
Guk would size up the warriors, and then, if he were not drunk, almost certainly back away. Then he would attempt to meet up with the halfling afterwards and give him some redstone to make his troubles go away.
Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?
As Guk is a large alcoholic, he would simply say: “Dub lat 'ab booze?” If the merchant did have some, Guk would buy as much as he could. If not, he would immediately walk on.
Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:
Guk would first shake his head at the stupidity of leaving such things behind, then leave it be, as he has no real need for such things.
Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?
Guk speaks concisely, with no particular heed for manners or friendliness. He would say something along the lines of: “Me need munchies. Dere city nea'by?”
You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:
If Guk was drunk, or in a fantastic mood (which is rare), then he would offer to fight. If he were feeling somewhat well, he would offer to lay redstone traps. If he were feeling normal, he would offer the guard some redstone. If he were feeling unhappy, he would ignore the guard entirely. If Guk were in a truly horrible mood, he would laugh at the guard and then eat an enormous amount of redstone.
