  1. Denied

Partly for not waiting 48 hours.

Even though we prefer (require) applicants to copy and paste the entire application, I took a look at your old one anyway. Your definition of roleplay is indeed sufficient, but your character still falls short. I did like the dwarf accent, keep that up! Here are some pointers for next time.

    - Provide more detail in your biography. Remember that it must include history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc. The more, the better.

    - Ambitions also need to be expanded on. They should somehow connect to the personality and/or history of your character.

    - Display your ability to roleplay in the scenario questions. That's why they are asked. Don't just tell what he does, show how.

Please wait 48 hours before reapplying. Take this time to read over your application and make necessary edits. Feel free to direct any questions you might have to me via PMs. Happy App-ing!

It's great to see the improvement between your first and fourth application, the difference certainly shows dedication and effort. However, there were some problems here and there. Adjustments you can make to have the best chance of being accepted next time:

    - More research on roleplaying is needed. Although you are getting the right idea, the type of roleplay we mean is different from LARP. Showing a great understanding of roleplay could be the difference between acceptance and denial of your application

    - Define metagaming in general. It's not quite enough to provide an example, tell us what it is.

    - Expand on powergaming. Once again, you're getting the right idea, but more is needed.

    - I would suggest a complete redoing of your biography. The "Undead killed everyone but me" story is extremely cliche. Also, you may not start out as an Undead, no matter what the backstory is. You can have as much fun playing an average character, I promise.

    - Try to use lore as much as you can. Instead of making up locations and events, poke around the Wiki and find things that have really existed/happened in Aegis

    - Tone down on the powergaming. This is both evident in your biography and scenario questions. Keep closely with realism.

-Fix up grammar as best you can.

This application is almost exactly the same as your last one. Same problems:

    - You'll need to do more research on roleplaying and powergaming.

    - The entire In Character section needs to be more detailed.

    - Define Roleplaying, Metagaming, and Powergaming in YOUR OWN WORDS. Not Wiki's, not someone else's.

    - There are several problems with your biography. First of all, it portrays unrealistic character. A couple of wars before 18? Secondly, not enough information about your character's background.

    - Scenario questions could use expanding.

First of all, you didn't wait 48 hours, but I'll tell you what is wrong with your application anyway.

    - Definition of Powergaming and Roleplaying could afford some expanding.

    - Biography contradicts lore. Aegis is not the real world and the events/places you mentioned do not exist.

    - Biography is also incomplete. It doesn't say much about your character. Remember the biography includes history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.

    - More research is needed on roleplaying and powergaming. Your definitions are incomplete/unclear.

    - An accepted villain application is required before your character can commit villainous acts, ex. stealing. I suggest spending some time on the server developing your character before going that route.

    - Your answer to the first "What would your character do?" question verges on powergaming. Stick closely with realism.

  7. You definitely have a clear idea of roleplaying and seem like you would be a good addition to the server. However, stealing requires a villain application and your character cannot start out a villain.

If you can fix this in an hour, I'll accept you. PM me when you are done.

    For not waiting 48 hours.

This requirement allows applicants plenty of time to make adjustments. One common element in your applications is the lack of overall effort. The links in the bottom of this post may be of help.
