His family was rich, but quickly fell into poverty, and times were dark. It all started when a powerful man in the Dwarven military fell in love with his beautiful mother. When the man confronted his mother, he asked for her hand in marriage. His mother politely refused, saying she could not leave her husband and her soon-to-be-son. The soldier, blinded with fury, lashed out and hurt his mother. He threatened to kill her family if she did not except his offer. He gave her two days to consider this. On the second night, the family silently snuck away in a small escape route the father made with a few necessary provisions . Saying good bye to their home, they blew it up with TNT to make it look like a accident. The father and the grandfather mined on and on for what it seemed like forever until they found a small cavern with water. They made camp there and waited for the mother to give birth. On the 10th day, Fal'on was born. He was a healthy weight and brought happiness to the family. The family could not stay there long though, for they were running short on food. Bravely, the father volunteered to venture out and look for an exit. They waited. Then they waited some more. He never came back. Stricken with grief, the family decided to look for him and ventured off in the direction he had came in. Then a unfortunate accident happened. A cave-in happened and the mother, having only enough time to push Fal'on into safety while she, the grandmother and grandfather, were all crushed from millions of tons of rock. Fal'on lay there crying for days, until a lowly human miner found him in the cave and brought him home with him to a small fishing village. The miner loved the child, and decided to name him after his father:Fal'on. Fal'on grew up with the miner and came to know him as"father". The miner dreaded telling Fal'on about how he was not his father, decided to neglect from telling him his past. WhenFal'on was old enough to go to school, he was laughed at and called"short" and "fat". Fal'on knew he was well built, and wason the short side, but he never really noticed how short he was. Fal'on noticed how he looked nothing like his father though, and was curious about his mother.He decided to investigate, and walked around town, asking questions about his"father". Most people paid no attention to him and kept on walking.This continued until he met an old man in a bar. The old man remembered how the miner had brought Fal'on from his mine one day. Outraged, Fal'on stormed out ofthe bar and confronted his so called "father". The miner, realizing he had no way out of it, told Fal'on how he had found him in the cave. Fal'oncould not stay mad at the miner for long though, for he was the one who raised and nurtured Fal'on. Oneday, as a young adult, Fal'on decided to leave the miner and go in search of his family. But before he could do this, he had to say good bye to the mine rwho raised him. He went into the cave and found a fire with some clothes hanging up to dry. The clothes looked perfect for him, just the right size, so he tried them on. The fit perfectly. He was enjoying himself then suddenly felt something cold and sharp press against his neck. He felt a drop of blood collect, and then fell splattering across the floor. He heard a gruff voice say calmly"If you wish to live, don't move" Fal'on carefully abided the orders,then heard "Now turn slowly around so I could get a good look atyou." As he turned around, what he saw astonished him. The man was short,about 5 feet tall, was dark skinned, and had a long orange beard. He was aDwarf. The first Dwarf Fal'on had ever seen, besides himself of course. TheDwarf, seeing Fal'on's young age, relaxed a little bit. "What are youdoing here?" he asks. Fal'on explains how he got there with full honesty."And why should I believe you?" asked the other Dwarf. Hoping thisdwarf would be able to lead him to a dwarven city, Fal'on replies "I don'tknow, but I can tell you if you if you feed me, I can do anything youwant." The Dwarf replies "I will believe you this time, but if youtry something sneaky later, I swear I will kill you." The Dwarf pulls downis knife, and Fal'on slumps to the ground breathing heavily. The Dwarf tells him he needs help carryinghis supplies back to his home in Kal'Urguan. Fal'on helps the Dwarf, whose namewas Erig' which Fal'on later found out. Whenthey got to the house Erig' found his house abandoned with no trace of what hadheppened. In a fit of rage, blamed Fal'on for his misfortunes. He then ran intohis house, and grabbed a heavy axe. Would you please give me more details?" After hearing the full story he will be irate on the cruelty of the bandits, which are attacking poor, helpless halflings. Invigorated with rage, he will join the town guard in their expedition. He will follow the orders of the guard like he was one of them. When he arrives there,he confronts two men. Knowing that bandits are not professional swordsmen, he would use simple tricks to get past their defenses. He would not stop until he completed his task, at all costs short of death. They were constantly caught stealing and were often replaced. This repeated until something happened that would change his life forever. Spoiled beyond belief, he become ravenousness for gold. God, seeing his greed and spoiled manner, came down to him in Asulon. For salvation, Dwarves must rid themselves of greed. God concocted plan to see how far the race had come, and decided to test Fal'on. Late at night, God came down to Fal'on laying in his bed. Awakened startlingly, Fal'on opened his mouth to shout but, seeing God, he quickly grew speechless. Frightened before God, Fal'on cowardly began trying to repent for his sins. On his hands and knees he cried and asked for God's forgiveness. When God spoke, Fal'on felt it more as "feelings" than "words". God left him with a diamond. A diamond so grand and large that it put all other diamonds to pity. If Fal'on had been more patient, less greedy, he would have read the note attached. The note attached said that the money made by this diamond was meant to be given to the poor and that any man who did not give the poor their share would be punished. Not wasting any time, Fal'on ran to the trading post and traded in the diamond so he could reap the benefits. But before he could, his eye sight became fuzzy, and he slowly faded into darkness... His parents seeing his private misery decided to buy him "friends". These "friends" usually were poor Dwarves trying to find there place in this world. They were constantly caught stealing and were often replaced. This repeated until something happened that would change his life forever. Spoiled beyond belief, he become ravenousness for gold. God, seeing his greed spoiled manner, came down to him in Aegis. For salvation, Dwarves must rid themselves of greed. God concocted plan to see how far the race had come, and decided to test Fal'on. Late at night, God came down to Fal'on laying in his bed. Awakened startlingly, Fal'on opened his mouth to shout but, seeing God, he quickly grew speechless. Frightened before God, Fal'on cowardly began trying to repent for his sins. On his hands and knees he cried and asked for God's forgiveness. When God spoke, Fal'on felt it as more as "feelings" than "words". God left him with a diamond. A diamond so grand and large that it put all other diamonds to pity. If Fal'on had been more patient, less greedy, he would have read the note attached. The note attached said that the money made by this diamond was meant to be gave to the poor and that any man who did not give the poor their share would be punished.Not wasting any time, Fal'on ran to the trading post and traded in the diamond so he could reap he benefits. But before he could, his eye sight became fuzzy, and he slowly faded into darkness. When he woke, he could not remember what happened. But that was not what he was thinking of. He found himself in a jail sell. Looking around, he saw lava, ghasts, and hoards of ghost working ad infinitum. In front of him he saw for what seemed like forever, he stared at the pools of lava a the misery of the ghosts. He then noticed God. Standing before Fal'on, Fal'on trembled "Is this the Nether? Have a sinned enough to get myself here." God answers. Fal'on is given a choice. Stay here and be damned to the Nether forever, or to be salvaged with a burden back in Aegis. Fearfully, Fal'on decided he did not want his life to end. He missed the cold stone of the underground, the large structures constructed by his brethren. He gave into God's might and decided to be salvaged. His burden was to help the poor, weather it was food, water, or shelter he had to help them at all costs. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Trying to redeem himself, he will most likely try to save the halfling at all costs. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? "Ello' I would like a barrel of the strongest mead yah got and some soup. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: If it would appear no one owns it, he would take some for himself and share the rest with the poor. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? "Hello, I am very hungary and I am lost. If you give me food, water, and rest I will be sure to pay you back." You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Even though he is set on redeeming himself, Fal'on can never look away when it is money at stake, and he would likely help them.
