    Dearest citizens of Axios I, Sheikh Limpy Tardly, have lived a long and joyful life and now wish to spread this joy upon all of you. For years my family and I have held many delightful social affairs for all races and cultures. Some of you may remember the exuberant parties of Whale Island, I know I will never forget such simpler times. Tonight on the 23rd of Sun’s smile I shall be holding a birthday celebration at the newly built Tardly estate outside the great walls of Haria and I invite you all. Let us put aside our differences, leave our concerns at the door and simply enjoy a grand evening of good food, music and company.

    Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature: The Hou-zi are basically primates evolved by the Daemon Metzli, given the gift of intelligence, who are native to Axios. Metzli used her powers in an attempt to create a race, so before she set out on such an endeavor she experimented. She used her powers to bring the monkeys of the jungles to a higher intelligence. Shei began with the alpha male who would be known as Hou-shen, the Monkey King. Hou-shen became a conduit of her, prophesying to the other monkeys and in turn granting to other monkey’s sentience. They became known as the Hou-zi. Their lavish society began expanding quickly, gaining a grandiose culture and attitude. But like all races, they became greedy and wanted to expand, gaining more power. So they set their eyes on the first kingdom of malinor for wealth and glory. At first they conquered lands quickly, defeating the elves numerous times before being halted at the siege of Naeri’onn in which Malin himself helped defend against the Hou-zi. This war didn’t seem to have a victor though as both sides settled for peace after exhausting most of their resources.

     

    During this time of peace the Hou-zi erected new cities within the lands they had conquered, prospering greatly until Hou-Shen’s ambition thrust them into war once again. But this time, Hou-Shen would fall as did so many others in the bloody battle. With victory to the elves, the Hou-zi were mercilessly slaughtered and forced back to their original territory. After the Hou-zi were defeated the primordial deity known as “Poison” brought upon them apocalyptic events, in the form of red mist, destroying their once great city and causing the Hou-zi scatter back to the jungles. But Metzli, angered by Poison, made Hou-Shen’s soul a new body to rescue his people and continue with Metzli’s work. So they took back their old capital and began rebuilding the army with the newest technology to once again face their elven foes. But even with their technology, the Hou’zi couldn’t defeat the elves who had advanced their knowledge and prowess in magic. Once more the Hou-zi fled back to their capital their resources depleted, though this time they fought each other in what was known as the jade wars. Hou-Shen became a hollow shell of what he once was and when Poison returned to wreak havoc upon the Hou-zi again, Hou-Shen simply walked into the jungle and was never seen again. Even with their civilisation in ruin, the Hou-zi still had hope for the day when Hou-Shen would return to bring them to their former glory.

     

    The Hou-Zi have a materialistic culture that is mostly based off of ancient china with their people living opulent lifestyles. Their religion is also Unique in the sense that they worship and praise Hou-Shen, their immortal god king, even though it was Metzli that gave them their sentience. The also Hou-zi come in a few varieties, the Laobai-Zhu who are the most common, the Fei-Zhu who are the smallest and resemble baboons. And then their are the Hei-Zhu who are the strongest and largest of the Hou-zi, resembling Gorillas.

    I don't think gm's should be focusing on roleplaying but rather on helping players with modreq's and solving server issues. Though I don't agree with this app, I'm not gonna -1 you either because then you have a slight against me if you actually do become a gm again.

    Ever since I was a child I have wanted to fly, first I started from the top bunk bed to the floor. But this wasn't nearly enough, so I took to the big boys diving board at the pool. Still not enough... And I finally got onto a plane and was thoroughly disappointed. Man was not meant to fly in a metal pod! We should soar like the very birds in the sky with their smug wings, always mocking us from above! Then there it was... Minecraft 1.9 and with its glory came wings. Will we refuse this bountiful race because wings are "Op" or will we step into the light and be prepared finally To achieve the greatness this server truly deserves? 

     

    The sky's the limit my friends. And I will open my arms wide for our new feathery friends.
