Definitions What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is using chat to become a character from the ever going story that is LoTC, taking on a role and pretending to be that role. What is metagaming?: Metagaming is to know things outside of character and using them to your role play advantages. What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Power-emoting is using emotes to force actions on other players, such as saying *LostGeographer takes his silver dagger and kills off the king* In-Character Information Character’s name: (what do you want your character to be called?) High Elf Character’s age: (upon application, your character must be 18 or older, and depending on the race, they can be over five hundred years old!) 40 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remi grew up with his mother and two brothers alone in a small cabin in the lands of Vailor, born in 1513. Remi never knew his father but heard stories of his father's life. Much of his childhood is quite a blur but he has memories of tending to the farms, enjoying nature and the surrounding forest, and raising animals. He always had a fascination with the woods, at night he would go exploring many times slipping away from his family to be alone and meditate. He enjoyed writing in his journal and learning. He would visit the city often to attend school, paid for by whatever his mom could make with the small farmland she owned. Remi seems to best align himself with Aeriel, and often would pray to the deity while by himself in the dark cool nights in the woods. Remi always was a positive elf, he prides himself in doing right and being truthful, following the virtues of Aeriel. His mom and brothers were recently found dead in his home, with cause unknown, the only bits of evidence were stab wounds and a ransacked house. but Remi being a strong High Elf continues to find some light in the world. He was deeply hurt emotionally by the death of his family yet uses it as a source of power, always remembering what the 3 people meant to him, and the great moments he had to spend with them. Remi was deeply effected by novels and textbooks he read throughout is life, he considers knowledge to be one of the most important things and reading to be a big part of knowledge, just as any high elf parent instills. He travels to the cloud temple to find a new home in this realm and to possibly join a school of magic somewhere, he is particularly interested in the school of arcane magic, as he has read several books on the matter and the concept of illusion. Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Remi is rather a quiet observer but enjoys close friendships. He never lies, and always see's the better in people, portraying unconditional positive regard for others. He isn't easily annoyed and is very optimistic. Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) To find a school of magic and make a living in a city. Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) He's quite smart and is good at doing right and being agreeable socially. He also knows how to farm quite well and tend to animals. He has a strong sense of self and worth. Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) He is pretty clumsy and often jumps to conclusions. My own, stopped hosting. Minecabin, Changed too much. Many hardcore pvp servers, still love them but got bored of some. Many others for short periods of time. -Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Completely. Without rules there would be no order and no balance. -Name the 4 races on this server: Elves, Orcs, Humans, Dwarves. Know one ever knew how he got there or why he was there. He grew up learning the way of the bow, practicing as a child and finding his way. He hunted for a living, Ocasionaly minning and selling things. He wanted to become the archer he knew he must be though. He had to become better. He heard mummers of a guild that could prove well in teaching him the master's way of the bow. He wanted to apply for it at some time. He then found out how he came to be and why he had no parents, unlike the other Elves. His Guardian told him where they found him some years ago and Eken was determind to find his old parents and ask them about what had happened. Me, eken is still looking for them and want to find them, they could hold the power to the bow skill he had been looking for. -Character Age: 19 -Character Appearance: Most of the time dressed in a green hood. He has blond hair. He is around 6 ft 7 and is quite strong for his age. -Character Personality: Very friendly, always looking to please others. Loves adventure but is at sometimes a bit cocky when it comes to fights. -Your ambitions: I want to become a great well known, feared archer.
