  1. I'll not live in a house made o' shrooms. It ain't dwarf-like..forest dwarf or no.
  2. Out-Of-Character: -Minecraft Account Name: DunkinDoNot -How old are you?:29 -Time-Zone/Country of Residence: United States -Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes. -Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am Father of two kids who both like to play Minecraft. I am also an artist that works for a computer game company and I enjoy experiencing community based efforts in expanding our definitions of what a game is. -How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Two to four times a week. Life can get hectic at times. -How long have you played minecraft?: My sons and I have played minecraft since beta 1.3 -What do you know about roleplaying? How long have you been doing it? What kind?: Having carved part of my childhood in WotC's D&D and played (and DM/Admin) on a few RP based Neverwinter Nights Persistent Worlds, I've been enjoying roleplaying for a long while. Roleplaying is assuming the persona of the character you have chosen and developing both your character's virtues and faults based upon the interaction of the environment and other characters around you. You see "the world" through the eyes of your character. -What do you expect this server will be like?:I'm hoping to see the mechanics of Minecraft blend with interesting lore, stirred with RPG qualities and served into and interesting and interactive experience. -What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:I have dabbled in Monstercraft. I have watched my sons play on other servers like Obsidiancraft. However, I felt these servers were missing some potential. I was looking for something that wanted to strive for something more engaging. -Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? What about the lore?: I have. -Name the 4 races on this server. Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Orcs -How did you hear about us?: Searching through the Minecraft servers, I stumbled upon LotC. It's artwork intrigued me enough to investigate. -Did you vote?:I did. -What was your favourite Law?: No returning after death. While hard to maintain and not always a favorite law for many younger people, this law alone tells me that the game will not appeal to immature people. -What was your least favourite Law?:Hrm. This is a tough one. All the laws seem appropriate to me and would be laws I would implement if I ran a RP based server such as this. I would probably say "Leaders cannot die in battle permanently unless previously scripted in OOC." -What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name? Boulderbeard In-Character: -Character Name:Graham Boulderbeard -What is your Race?: Dwarf -Lordofthecraft.net/forum forum account:DunkinDoNot -Biography:Being of partial forest dwarf heritage, Graham Boulderbeard is the son of a simple dwarven missionary. As a dwarven child, Graham followed his father on many excursions of proselytizing and trading. Growing up, Graham never continued in the footsteps of his father's profession of being a missionary priest. He preferred to journey towards a simpler and more nomadic life, free from the confines of a religion that guided his father's daily actions. He has sought to travel, both underground and above ground for most of his life into his now middle-aged years. Since a young age, he has been driven by the curiosities of magic and new experiences that have crossed his path among his many journeys. -Character Age: 53 -Character Appearance: Earthen skin is slightly darker than your common dwarf. His -Character Personality: Graham Boulderbeard is a stoic and quiet elder fellow but with the usual amount of impatience usually found in a dwarf. Graham's beliefs and temperament are still guided by religious undertones (whether he cares to admit it or not), thanks to his parent's upbringing. Unlike many of his brethren, the uncomfort of the open expanses above ground have little affect on him. However, being wedged in tight, confined spaces beneath tons of rock and stone are always soothing and relaxing to the dwarf. His past experiences traveling with his father have shown him that orcs are not to be trusted and greatly despised, while most elves are simply annoying and condescending. Humans are generally tolerated, even liked if they can take to drink as well as a common dwarf. -Your ambitions: Graham wishes to see and experience the world, driven by his curiosity to covet and understand magic and items imbued with magic. This usually lands Graham into questionable and dangerous situations. -Can your character read or write?:Yes. -Can your character mine?:Yes. -Are you a capable builder? Can build various buildings as necessary. -Can you wield a sword?:Is capable of wielding a sword and defending himself. -Enjoy Farming?:Slightly enjoys farming. -Does your character have any special skills?: No. -A screenshot of your skin: -Other Information:
