Throdo after seeing the distaster and the palace shouts to citizens and any revolutionairies that escaped

People of Salvus, I have just watched hundreds of innocents murdered on the streets of Solace. Some were revolutionaries, and some were just citizens. Dawn was stabbed and recovered to give the order to kill everyone, even citizens. I was nearly killed myself for just witnessing it. This cannot go any longer. The people must now unite under one banner and cast the forsaken witch off of Asulon. The blood run through the rivers and people lay dead, we have to stop this carnage and save what is left of Salvus..

After a few moments, he glares at the burning keep then walks to Arethor with haste

It's your right to disagree with the politics of Salvus, but I have had it you you. ALL of you. If you continue to insult the Queen in this manner I shall make sure your mugs will not be seen in Salvus again.

Let's just make it a open area not belonging to anyone then fighting over who leads it, no one here is fit to lead except Dawn why BECAUSE SHE CREATED IT and if it is going down it should be going down with her not given to a person who is just power hungry.

Did you think about the people, who live there? The problem is, that they get attacked and molested by criminals and your solution is to turn the place in a war zone to help them?

So you think of yourself as a citizen? You wish for the betterment of Salvus? You could have lent your sword to the aid of the understaffed peacekeepers - protecting the people and leading by example, as you think they are all either lazy or corrupt.

Instead you choose to lead riots and meaningless council elections, adding more confusion and mischief to the nation, as it already has. Salvus is more troubled by criminals than every other nation, because of it's function as hub between the south and the north, not because of the Queen. I doubt you and your collection of lemmings are able to provide any changing towards the better of the situation.

*stands among the people, holding a flyer, till he finally had enough

Who are you, to speak on behalf of the citizens of Salvus? You don't live here. Not to my knowledge. I helped building this nation. Did one of you approach me? No. Why is that? Because you don't care for the citizens. You saw an easy way to seek power, that didn't work out and now you surround yourself with a horde of mindless sheep without an own opinion and try to plan an invasion.

Are there problems in Salvus? Sure. Are you the solution? NO! YOU are part off the problem. Now PISS OFF and get OUT of my town. YOU DON'T BELONG HERE.

*crumples the flyer and tosses it back at the man

"Who ever came up with this surely only has the best interests for Salvus in mind."

Kal notices the flyer and starts reading. He growls displeased after he finished the read.

He repeats the line

"Patterns for our blacksmiths to forge?"

in a sarcastic tone.

"Am I the appointed head blacksmith of Salvus or not? Like I would bend myself over for the scribbled drawings of some no-good young fool."

His voice is that of an grumpy old man now, having lived through too many winters.

"They could have just ask me directly, before making a fuzz about it."

He wanders off, closing the forge for the public use and gets to work.

Pending for Salvus and Solace. I don't know you enough to know whether or not you actually have ties to these two pages, but if you can get a nation leader of Salvus and a leader of Solace to tell me that it is ok for you to have permission, then I will give it to you.

As of right now the Salvus page and the Solace page. I've been with what can be considered the core of Salvus since I think early November. I lived in Winterfell and fled to the Isle of Salvus after Winterfell was destroyed.

I was among the first people to enter what now is called Solace and have witnessed every step of it's development; from ruins on top of a hill, surrounded by a dense forest to a live filled capital with many unique buildings.

Its not necessarily military time, its the 24 hour clock. Maybe I've made a blunder and other countries don't use the 24 hour clock?

I think most of the world uses the 24 hour clock. Your problem is that one part of the world, that refuses to do anything like the rest. Just let them sweat a little. :mrgreen:

((I saw the note on the hospital today, saying you are gone for a while. I would offer to do it, if Dawn ask for it in game, but I have 2 things speaking against it. My crappy time zone, isolating me from 3/4 of the citizens and the fact that I have no perms outside of Solace, so I can't collect the bundles of weed or place reminders there... and neither can Silent for that matter, at least as far as I know.))

(really? Can't Edward do it? I think a 7 year old child (in RP) is not someone that should walk around and collect the taxes from people ...)

The problem is, we can't just bake ourselves some good guards in the bakery.

Mostly people join a peacekeepers, because they want to play a hero of sorts. That's why you always get a good deal of inexperienced RPers, that tend to metagame or bully villains just to get some action. Normally they get released from the force after a few incidents. An additional problem is, that we can't hold the good RPers for long either, because they tend to evolve their character and seek new tasks, stepping away from the (-if played right-) rather boring daily life of a guard.

There has been so much rotation in the peacekeepers, that I honestly lost track who even is in charge right now.

I only know, when we hire new peacekeepers we get complains about them being rude and bad RPers. When we clean the ranks, we get complains about people getting robbed in the streets because there are never any guards online.

We can only work with what is given to us.

I can only advise you to gather proof, if they break either server rules or the rules of the peacekeepers and inform preferably Dawn or someone else of authority within the kingdom, so we can take consequent actions.

I think you are the most cheerful person on the server I know. You dedicate a lot of time to make the server a fun place and although I don't read many of them, I see your name quite often in the app subforum. You have proven, that you can make difficult decisions. After all did you deny pumpkin_eaters first app, which was so shiny, probably not many people would have been able to.

But I'm not 100% sure, if you are not too nice. FMs sometimes have to be harsh and demanding to restore order, maybe even with people you would consider friends. If you think you can do that, then I support.

Also...It's good you're honest, but having more sig space or being able to mess around in other people profiles is a nice gimmick, but should not be important in the decision whether or not you want to be a FM. :P
