I When i rp, i literally zone out my surroundings and imagine myself as the character. I just think what my character would think. You are BEING someone else, whom does simply not exist. You must think as they would think, you must act as they would act. He was trained mainly with a sword as a child, but know how to use a bow decently. He can do almost anything decently, and is a rather fast learner. He lived in a lower class family most of his life, and the only reason he can use a sword as well as he can is because his father was a retired soldier. As his family was poor, he had to get a part-time job of a miner as a teenager. Because of this, he can mine better than some other trades he knows, but he is no dwarf of course. He is friends with Zawersed, and they have been lifelong friends ((OOC: He won't have that in his app unless I tell him to edit it. But we will be working together, so I thought I'd just add that)) IC: When Venatus was about 16, his parents were murdered. Venatus and his parents were traveling on a road of no significance to anyone, when a band of pillagers jumped out from the side of the road. His mother screamed at Venatus to run, that he had much more to live for than them as his father was being stabbed to death. As he ran away he heard the twang of a bow and the scream of his mother. He dared to look back to find that they were being dragged away by the pillager's pet wolves. This created a mental image in Venatus's head that would not leave until the day he died. This presented him with a problem of how to earn a living. His mining job was lost because his parents were the only reason he still had the job. So he became a thief as a young adult. He learned to kill and steal without passion. However, he changed his ways when he saw the pain and suffering he had caused by killing a single child's parents for their money. It reminded him of his parent's death. He attempted to make it up the girl, but he simply could never approach her before crying uncontrollably and running away. He then realized the error of his ways and attempted to begin to move beyond his dark past. Maybe his dark past will come back to him for a necessity of survival. Maybe he'll become a defender of good and holiness. Or perhaps he'll become a simple mercenary. Either which way, he just hopes to survive (and thrive?) in the world of Aegis.
