At the age of 67, he left his home with his 2 friends Osthato and Galb, in search of adventures and fights. One day, while hunting wolves, he heard a scream, and noticed it were his friends voice. Running as fast as he could, he found at his camp 4 orcs, with swords and his 2 friends lying in the ground with huge wounds, as fast as he could he took his sword and killed the 4 orcs without problem. Then, when he turned back, it was too late. His friends had died.
