Out-Of-Character: It's been close to three days since I posted my application. I thought it would be fun to add some more story to Migan's background. So, here are two short stories. This should bump it up to the top of the forum. In-Character: The tail of my youth When I was young, no older then my twentieth year in the dark caves of Aegis, I and my family lived in the poor area in the dwarven city of Stoneshorn. We didn't have as much as others, but we had each other. My father was a good Dwarf. He was a miner. His job didn't pay well, but he did his best to make sure we didn't live without anything we needed. My mother was a good wife to him. She made the house look great. She would cook the best mushroom soup. The smell would fill the air and would make everyone's mouth water. But don't think my mother tame. She had ambitions and hobbies of her own. Of all my parents children, I came first into this splendid world and my sisters followed me in the years to come. First to come after me was Kila. She would become my oldest sister. She was a strong Dwarven girl and was the closest thing to a brother. Often, she would tease me and we would get in a tussle. Occasionally, she would win. Second was Helge. She had a rebellious soul. If everyone wanted to do something one way, she would want to do the opposite. You could not fault her. This is how the gods made her. So I loved her the same as the others. Third was Imli. She was a meek child. When she was only a few weeks old, she came down with pneumonia. It ravished her body, but she survived. She would never fully recovered. I helped care for her when my mother was away or had chores. Fourth an fifth, depending on who tells the story, was Gimserd and Ortryd They are twins. I truly don't know who came out first. My dad told me that Ortryd came out first. My mother told me Gimserd came out first. Who really came out first? No one knows. These two are more alike then they are different. Not only do they look similar, they act very similarly. Both grew up wanting to be just like their mother. Tail of my father. My father was a good Dwarf. He worked hard and long hours to provide for me and the rest of our family. He would go to the mines early and return late in the evening. He would be tired, but he would always make time to spend time with me and my sisters. I still remember that fateful day. I woke up early and was warming myself near the fire. My father slipped out of his room to not wake my mother. He grabbed the lunch that was prepared the night before, and he grabbed his pick axe that was laying by his door. On his way out, he patted my head and said in his soft deep voice "I love you." That would be the last time I saw him. Later that day, there was an accident. It was much later when some of his fellow miners told us that they were working in a area where the ground was unstable. The miners had their reservations, but the foreman told them to continue. No one knows what really happened next, but suddenly there was a huge roar and a cloud of smoke came rushing from the mine. The workers who were not trapped frantically tried to find survivors. They were digging for hours when they found my father. The gods had chosen to take him. All that remained was his limp body. Beside him lay his axe. I remember when they told me my dad was dead. My dad's best friend came to us and told us of our fathers fate. He handed me my farther's axe. I looked at it, and I started to cry. The handle.... the handle..... the handle was carved with the faces of me, my mother and sisters. The reason why he was dead was starring me in the face. He was dead because he cared for us. Since that day, I have been called Migan Gravel. Migan was my father's name and Gravel is what took his life. I use his axe now, but I made one addition. I added his face to the handle.

What kind?: I only know what I have read on the forums and what common sense allows. Roleplaying allows me to take on the life of my character in Aegis. My history, my philosophy, and my actions are all governed by the story of my character. -What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect to find a server that adheres to it's rules and RP. This is something that is hard to find and something I admire. -What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: Pixelville, this was the first server that I found. I still visit from time to time, but they don't have many people on the server. -Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? What about the lore?: I have read the rules and understand them. I also agree to them. I am not certain of the extent the lore will impact my actions, but I will do everything I can. -Name the 4 races on this server. The four races are Elves, Orcs, Humans, Dwarves. I am not sure how subraces, Undead or Ascended fit in. -How did you hear about us?: I heard of this server from searching for the best minecraft servers on Google. -Did you vote?: Yes. -What was your favourite Law?: No senseless killing. -What was your least favourite Law?: The donator perk system. Where donators get lockete and others don't. -What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name? macktruck6666 In-Character: -Character Name: Migan -What is your Race?: Dwarf -Lordofthecraft.net/forum forum account: macktruck6666 -Biography: After loosing his father in a cave in, Migan had to provide for his mother and five sisters. His life was not easy. Breathing in the dust of the mines did horrible things to his lungs, but worse yet, was his company. Because of this age, his fellow workers saw him as an easy target to unleash their frustration. Minga did what he had to to survive in the mines and to provide for his family. One after another, his sisters were married, leaving only him and his mother. After a long life, Migan's mother was laid in the crypt. With his conscious eased, Migan is just starting a new life that is free from former responsibilities. -Character Age: 57. Migan is a young dwarf who has finally been relieved of his family responsibilities. -Character Appearance: Forced to work long a tedious hours at the mine has made Migan into a robust and strong dwarf. He might not have the grace of an elf, but he can literally move mountains. -Character Personality: Migan is a timid dwarf. He could surely rip anyone in half, but being surrounded by harsh characters has made Migan docile. -Your ambitions: With all his sisters married and living in distant dwarven villages. Migan reverts back to what he has always known, mining. He is happy mining and help others who need assistance. -Can your character read or write?: Migan spent most of his time in the mines providing for his family. He does know how to read and write minimally. This is due to the charity of others. -Can your character mine?: The mine is Migan's home. He is more comfortable there, then any other place. -Are you a capable builder? Although Migan's doesn't have the imagination to create inspiring structures, he is happy to give a helpful hand to others that might need it. -Can you wield a sword?: Troubled by the events in his youth, He will only take up sword in defense of those he loves. -Enjoy Farming?: Migan doesn't like weak food like wheat and sugar.
