Aegis was land in which war never stood still. While the innocents would be attacked from all sides by bandits and the undead, the capitals of Oren, Laurelin, and Kal'Urguan, nor would the ascended do anything to protect them. So many souls lost because of the carelessness of others. While the nations of Aegis did nothing, that was where the Diamantkin stood. Held together by the mysterious leader, the Lumiere. They worked as vigilantes, protectnig the innocent, and preserving their own lives in their progress. As time grew old, the clan began to wither away. That's when it happened. The remaining Diamantkin watched as the nations of Aegis fell, one by one. The undead was clearly too strong a threat for them. One day it had become evident that the Diamantkin were no more, as they had all left their home for Asulon without warning. The Lumiere, with the ruins of his home at his back had set off for the lands of Asulon. While he knew that the Diamantkin were no more, he believed that he had to re-establish an order of vigilant command, after seeing what kind of chaos lie in Asulon. Although lacking the undead beating down on the lands, Asulon was in a state of Anarchy, many still stealing and murdering for the sake of their own survival. As was the way of life in Aegis. I have alot of schoolwork to do, but when I'm not doing schoolwork, there isn't alot to do, that's why I decided to apply for this server. -How much time could you be on the server weekly?: If the server's fun, I will probably stay on as much as I can, which would be about 6 hours a day, besides weekends, when I'd have about 10 hours a day. So a total of about 50 hours a week. I need to get a life. -How long have you played minecraft?: I've been playing minecraft since a little while earlier than the Halloween update, so I'd say about a year? -What do you know about roleplaying?: Roleplaying is a complex 'make-pretend' in which people take on the role of characters and act out those roles as the character would, to develope that character in a way that a character would within a fictional book. In a nutshell, it's an interactive story. Lots of fun. -What do you expect this server will be like?: This server, what I it expect to be like, from what I've seen will most likely be an interactive environment involving heavy character developement through the use of words to create an enriched world in which players can immerse themselves in. -What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I've played on many servers before, mostly roleplaying servers, however, I usually left them because they didn't meet up to my high standards, they were more 'power-ups and upgrades' than character development. -Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: I have read, understood, and agreed to the rules, should there be any more rules added, I would be sure to check what they are, and what their purpose would be. -Name the 4 races on this server: The four races on this server are Humans, Dwarves, Elves, and Orcs. -How did you hear about us?: I first saw the video on the Yogscast, however I thought Lord of the Craft was just a map, until I found the post in MinecraftForums.net, I had to check it out then. -What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: Zamlol In-Character: -Character Name: Aaron Xeniith -What is your Race?: Human -Biography: A young, silent person that keeps his troubled thoughts to himself can be found in the woods. If one were to step close enough to him to speak, he would slowly turn around and, with his feet gliding across the grass, would walk away without another sound besides his quiet breath. Everything about his life was written in his journal. His mother and father were brutally murdered, by what, however, he didn't know. His brothers and sisters are presumed dead. When his family was slaughtered, he was out in the forest, hunting. The traumatic events that happened when he returned to his blood-soaked home kept his mind quiet, unable to comprehend what had happened, forcing him to rely on the only skill he had. Hunting. With a bow unholstered, he had set out into the woods, mentally unstable. This instability led him into the darkest depths of his mind, where he had been forced into when he was younger. When he walked, the path would only get darker, only driving him closer to utter insanity. He slowly lost his will to speak. Then he lost his will to move, then finally, his will to live. His life was changed forever when a kind man took him to his cabin and helped him recover his strength and retain his sanity. In return, the man asked Aaron to marry his daughter, Alysia. Aaron had no desire to be attached to anyone. And so, in shame, refused. During the period in which he was recovering his mind, he had fallen in love with the kind man's daughter, and to this day, regrets his decision. He set out and had traveled over hundreds of miles to find a place in the world that would accept him for his sickened mind. He was certain there was no place in this world for him. He had nowhere to go, and so, he stopped searching. -Character Age: 28 -Character Appearance: He wears a grey-brown dusty linen robe, with silk-inlaid white linen pants covered in cuts. He has black hair and whitish-tan skin, blue eyes, and has lonesome look on his face, as if he's never had a friend before. -Character Personality: He's quiet, and sometimes ignorant, but very intelligent. He's very hot-blooded and will often attack things that he sees as a threat without fear. -Your ambitions: Aaron's only true ambition, besides keeping himself alive, is to the find the beautiful daughter of the man who saved his life, and to marry her, to make up for all of the years he's lived in lonesome shame of his tortured life. -Can your character read or write?: Originally, he had no knowledge of how to read or write, however, he taught himself to read, and eventually write, by reading the many variations of books he finds over the years. He's not a scholar, but he can certainly read better than a bandit. -Can your character mine?: He can mine, he's seen dwarves mine before. He just doesn't have much of a reason to mine. -Are you a capable builder?: He knows how to nail planks together, and put up a tent, but he certainly couldn't build a farm or a real house. -Can you wield a sword?: He can use a sword reasonably well compared to some of the hooligans he's come across. It's not really his signature weapon, though. -Enjoy Farming?: He doesn't like farming. He's impatient, and it reminds him of home.
