Have lived 2 years in the UK. -Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I recently finished my bachelor in computer science and currently working from home. When not working (most of the time, that is), I tend to fiddle with my tabletop storytelling campaigns (mostly Mage: The Awakening) or do some PC gaming. -How much time could you be on the server weekly?: About 10 to 20 hours a week would be fair to assume. Sometimes more, sometimes less, as real life can interfere at times. -How long have you played minecraft?: On and off for about a year. -What do you know about roleplaying? How long have you been doing it? What kind?: Roleplaying to me is taking on another persona for a limited duration, becoming that character for all intents and purposes. I have done a lot of tabletop roleplaying, mostly as storyteller but also as player, but I have yet to try minecraft roleplaying, mostly due to lack of a serious server to do this on. -What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect high quality roleplaying, an active community of players and having great moments shared way to late at night. -What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: Only ever played SMP or creative with a small group of friends and never with any roleplay. That has since long died out and I recently became really interested in minecraft RP. -Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? What about the lore?: Rules are crystal clear and make sense. The lore is slightly more demanding but I have read the linked documents and currently reading up on the human RP forums for more lore. -Name the 4 races on this server: The four main races would be Humans, Elves, Dwarves and Orcs, but there are other races as well, such as the Undead or Ascended. -How did you hear about us?: Minestatus.net -Did you vote?: Not yet. I can't vote for something I haven't properly tried, but if the server lives up to its reputation, I will. -What was your favourite Law?: All players must be in character at all times and stay IC. -What was your least favourite Law?: This is a strange question, and I have no answer. All laws are perfectly sensible for attaining a better experience. -What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name? Pobiega In-Character: -Character Name: Darian Bryce -What is your Race?: Human -Biography: Darian was born the second child to Lorgus and Sarah Bryce, a couple of farmers living on the outskirts of Al'Khazar. Here he grew up as a farmers son, working together with his brother Marcus and his father. Part of this work was cutting down trees and fabricating fences for the farm and it early became clear that Darian was talented with the axe. He practiced archery with his father who took him hunting ever so often and grew a knack for that as well. Once his father was too old to work, his brother Marcus took over the farm, allowing Darian to stay as a farmhand, but he instead took to the woods to forge his own path as a woodsman. -Character Profession: Woodsman - Hunter -Character Age: 36 -Character Appearance: Darian has a rugged look due to his chosen profession, rarely having the opportunity or the desire to shave or otherwise groom his appearance. -Character Personality: He gladly talks to strangers, telling (grossly exaggerated) tales of his adventures and travels to anyone who would listen. His fuse is maybe not the longest, but he is more a man of peace than violence; arrows are expensive and are best used getting food. -Your ambitions: To maintain his very own "status quo". As long as he has food to eat and shelter for the night, Darian is content. -Can your character read or write?: He can read almost fluently but does have quite some problems with writing and as such tends to avoid it as much as possible. -Can your character mine?: "How hard can it be? You just take that pick and slam it at the rock!" - He has never really tried, but in his mind it can't possibly be harder than woodcutting or digging. -Are you a capable builder? For simple structures and shelters, sure. Advanced architecture?
